One of the best things this sim did- sometimes while returning to base from a mission a bandit would close with you nose on, then whizpast you and keep going because they didn't want to fight, or were winchester. Find me another sim that has done that since then or before.
Used to play this game way back in 1996 before my actual flights. Noticed that they had Indicated Airspeed and True Airspeed readings in cockpit. Good job )))
I remember playing this game as a kid not knowing what the hell I was doing 😂 I would stay on the afterburner all the time after launch and get mad when I run out of fuel after 5 minutes, thinking the game was bad 🤣
I barely remember playing this game, but I'm pretty sure this is what sparked my flight sim passion all those years ago. If I only knew it was so dang expensive... lol
Abysmal physics. I think Falcon 3.0 was my first flight sim. I also played a lot of JetfighterIII then later Flanker and EF2000. It was such a huge deal to me when the software(and supporting hardware) got to a level where you could see movable control surfaces😂 What a great time to be alive that was
This looks like if-16 just like it wow i think it is now that was one of my very favorites to play wow miss that game as a matter of fact im sitting here right now playing a favorite called armed air forces a very cool computer like sim for your phone or tablet my pref the tablet of course and I'm flying the F16 another one of my favorite planes so yeah it's cool going back to the 90s sims that if played and enjoyed me myself I'm just getting back into it only this time things are what i would thought they would be so with new technology and more advanced hotas this is going to be a great experience can't wait
I just found a copy on a second hand store. It's from Sweden so the manual on the CD should be in english (sweden rarely translate stuff since everyone knows english). Problem is, currently I dont have a working CD drive. Have you found the manual? Otherwise I could borrow someones pc and get it that way for you.
I remember that problem, it had to do with the radar. If you select a ground target by radar and then use the LANTIRN to designate it while still keeping your radar on, it is stored internally as a radar target. Once you pass over the target, it gets out of your radar cone and you lose the target. You have to disengage radar so that the target is stored as LANTIRN target internally, thus enabling LANTIRN to keep tracking it even after you passed it.
