@@ScienceCodeCreations honestly, I don’t mind if it replaces Gen Retro in the Poison Gauntlet, however, I would prefer if it becomes a level in a completely different gauntlet, like the upcoming Toxic Gauntlet or something like that…
Wow, at first when checking the Daily I thought it was really the Generation Retro of all time (I didn't realize the name was different), I played it instantly to be surprised again and see that it's a remake
honestly, as much as this was intended to be a "fix" or remake to Generation Retro, I actually think a lot of the charm that Generation Retro had (despite being incredibly messy in execution) was lost in this. For example, while the boss fights defo feel smoother, one thing I liked in the original was that it tried to make the player actually fight back the boss (albeit being guaranteed due to slopes), instead of just the usual "dodging projectiles" shtick, but in this one it was just not included at all. It could've been cool if those skulls u pick up during the boss fight made the player visibly so something to damage the boss (even if it isn't a projectile). I also found the music sync for this to be actually more annoying to get used to than Generation Retro itself, which is surprising cause Generation Retro just feels standard when it comes to music sync (but even the ship parts which are barely synced had some moments)
