Hogan was far different from the guy he's helping. Hogan's pivot and rotation helped him square the club easily. He wouldn't change hogan a bit. Butch knows this guy is never ever going to have Hogan's rotation.

butch actually was good friends with hogan and even played with him when he was younger, hogan and his father were best friends. hogan was also much shorter then the guy in this video, the shorter you are the flatter plane you will have, plane i think is mostly determined by your build and height rather then something intentional to the swing.

@@Tristan_Willcox the Hogan swing was not due to how tall he was, lol. It was intentional because of his understanding of connection. Making sure his lower body started the downswing insured he could avoid coming over the top.

Believe me it makes a huge difference,cocking them wrists early i had a golf lesson a couple of months back and the guy giving me the lesson,said i had no wrist cock at all,and was to stiff and no flexibility,similar to this guy in this vid,changed a few things and made me cock the wrists,and it made a huge difference,also make sure your are pretty even with each other in upswing,ie not one higher than other,hope this helps
