Not a huge fan of the card designs this year, but this year and 17 were the BEST pack animations IMO. 17s card designs were amazing. Overall 17 might be my favorite year. Gameplay was what it was, but that was the first year with WL (even though it was 40 freaking games) and the first year of SBCs which completely changed the game. Very pivotal year

I feel like Aguero deserves an icon card. Even if it’s significantly low rated, I feel like the impact he made in the premier league means he just deserves it. But if it isn’t likely, he deserves a very high rated hero card.

Kompany? Is he though? The best or one of the best CBs in History? I didnt watch him a lot while he played but does he deserve anything more than 89 Hero card? As it is in my head, he was on the top in 1 or 2 seasons in City when they won the Prem but apart from that I dont think he did much to deserve a higher rating or an Icon.

I mean these FIFAs still had their own issues, that's why I've always felt FIFA was great before FIFA 17. When they didn't have Frostbite. A lot of annoying shit didn't happen back then. Football games will always be sort of unfair. But since FIFA 17 they got crazy.

Personally i find that people have so much recency bias as andy said icons and heroes are getting compared to the people they played so kompany and augero are heroes. Since kompany is base 88 aguero should be 89 a world cup wouldve given him an icon
