I love the seventies. I was born in 1972 and my parents had orange walls in the house and a dark brown corduroy couch. 😊 It was the best couch we've ever had. So comfortable and cozy. And with birthdays the whole family came over and the whole livingroom was filled with cigaret smoke. Nobody who made a problem of it. It was normal in these years. When I see your lovely seventies stuff it brings back great memories. My father died 4 years ago and my mom 2 years. I miss them so much and that is a reason why I love to see stuff from the seventies. Irma from the Netherlands
Very pretty and interesting colors, I cant wait to see the end result. I was born in 1961 and remember that style so much. A lot of boho is inspired by late 60's early 70's decor and style.
Liliana. Your things compliment each other. Yes a pop of colour that will brighten up your kitchen. Being a forces quarter you are limited to what you have to work with and all your finds can be taken with you when you move. Well that was always my excuse when I was buying and finding things to make our quarters look more homely.
Love your bargains, I grew up with those bright colours love them (a 60s/70s child). We have a vintage kitchen as well. I think your tray is fibre glass btw xx
Must I pick just one??? I love it all and I cannot wait to see the end results. The 70's style is my time...school graduation and early marriage, first baby born in 1970. Wonderful memories for me in the 70's and I still love the look and colors of that era. You hit the jackpot!! 💕
Well Liliana what a blast from the past the orange cake tins I had in my first home when I was married in 1972 I was posh then I had a fridge with a small freezer with separate door see I told you I was pash and those tins sat on the top I loved them they were a wedding present We have photos somewhere of the fridge and tins it was the only new thing we had everything else was second hand we were so proud of that fridge and tins , life seemed simpler in those days , I love all the other things too . Sending ❤️Shirley 😊

Oh Liliana! I’m in love with it all!! Brings back happy memories of my childhood - my mum had an avocado green and orange kitchen in the 70’s. Looking back it was fabulous. Everyone just went for it - no such thing as greige in those days! The coffee set is wonderful - my mum had those cups and saucers😍. Your kitchen is going to be fabulous - can’t wait to see! 💜💙🧡

Hello Liliana! Loved all the vintage items you bought, my favorite is the cups with the tea kettle. The round tins were gorgeous. Can't wait for the decorating.😊
Hi there. Sorry to see your dermatitis is falring up again, I wish you better soon and you look really nice in that dress too. I LOVE the coffe set and what a bargain you got, well done! I cant wait to see the cupboards transformed I think they will look great and all your little finds with look great when you style them. I am not a lover of green, but I do like your apron/tea towels/table runner. I think they will look good with your scheme. The tinswill lookgood too but they are a bit dirty arentthey. I wonder why she didnt clean thembefore selling them? Cant wait to see all of your styling around the house. It is gradually becoming "your house". Take care and keep hydrated - all of you. Love Lyn and family xx xx
