Hey there. Thank you for the quick video. I had a question... I was able to successfully get some games into RetroArch but they've downloaded files in doubles, triples . What am I doing wrong, how can I prevent that in the future? I'm fairly new to ROMS and such but I'm eager to learn. Thanks
I have reproach but the roms are not playing even though I directed it to the various game folders on my computer. Where is a good place to put my roms folders so retroarch can access them. I had them in my documents folder

Any help on where to get BIOS for PlayStation 1 and 2? Preferably somewhere where it won't try to make me download some other sketchy program before it will let me download the actual BIOS first as that happened a while back when I tried to get a PS2 emulator working.
Seems no one knows the answer to the most important step in setting these emulators up. I am following the "Dummies guide" grabbed PS1 bios files but they don't work. Yes I renamed them in accordance with the files the core needs. ps-30j.bin, ps-30a.bin, ps-30e.bin. Desktop view still reporting missing files despite them being there in the directory RetroArch/System.

I've been watching your videos for some time now and always wanted to know what should my percentages on my pc be i am worried about running it to hard and causing damage when using xemu my CPU is at about 100% and GPU is about 70% and can hear my pc fan running loud is that cause for concern, other emulators ps2 and below run smooth low usages on systems.
What's your pc specs, and have you heard of a free program called msi afterburner? It will display your cpu and gpu temps while gaming even in emulators. I have a new setup guide on my second channel how to nerd.
Thanks for the wonderful video. Unfortunately, when using this method, as opposed to downloading through Steam, whenever I run a game it says my achievements are unsupported. Do you know of a possible fix for this?
Can anyone help me out? I got retro on my old phone and had to get a new phone. I transfered everything from the old phone including retroarch but it did not transfer any of my saves or cores...When I went to update my GBA core it didnt have beetle anymore. Beetle was the core i was using on my old phone. So I went in to the old phone and manually moved the saves and states into the new phone under the retroarch folders saves/states. However, the new retro does not recognize these saves or states at all...Is there anyway around this bc I really dont want to start all over on my games....please help!!
Fantastic video. St8 to the point as always. I have a question tho... According to my informations, there's a Retroarch shader that gives to many sprites of the first Akumajou Dracula/Castlevania for NES a blueish color rather than the original purple, or shade of it. The sprites affected are zombies, Death, skeletons, bone pillars, ghosts, axe knights, spear knights, the axe sub-weapon, money bag, ecc. I would like to use this shader on other emulators. If I'm sounding rude, I'm sorry. It's not my intention. Would you please give me the name of this shader? I don't know to which core this shader belongs If you don't know what I'm talking about, please check some longplays of both games. Btw I Got One Problem When I Was Trying to go to "Import Content" I Couldn't Find it Maybe Because I'm Using a Different Appearance So They Might Have Replaced the "Import Content" to Something Else because of the Appeareance I Put But I Really Don't Want PS3 Appearence I Just Don't Like it So is there Anyone Could Help me With this Please!
