What year is your truck? I’m looking to do that for my truck. I would like to keep my grille and would like to just replace the insert/middle portion but I can’t find it for a 2007 Toyota tundra. I appreciate any help. Thanks!
Mine is a 11, it will work for yours too, you will just need to order some brackets. I got my grille from good match up. They are out of California I think so you should be able to call them and ask them what brackets you need so you can order it. Hope this helps let me know if you have any other questions.
Oh really? I didn’t think they had it for the 2007 but if all I need to buy extra is some brackets I’m definitely down. I’m out of CA as well, I send them eran email yesterday I believe, I haven’t got a respond I’m gonna try calling
I have an 07 and I did this conversion. You need the 10-13 grill and replace the insert on it with the TRD style insert^ Getting the 2 new brackets from the 10-13 grill onto the 07-09 tundra wont help because the holes that attach to the bracket that's on the hood dont line up. It'll end up being loose from the corners. I designed and 3D printed me some adapters to fasten them down and make the grill sturdy
2nd gen is basically 07 till 21. Same 5.7, in 14 we got a body refresh with some minor tweaks and interior changes. I guess you could say 07 to 13 is 2nd gen and 14-21 is 2.5 gen.
