Yes you can add the buffer just to maintain the integrity of the test condition. But be mindful that the buffer doesn’t come with the test strip, so the amount of buffer you add can alter actual results. Just the test strip is basically enough to determine a positive and negative result.👌
No, I mean the absorbent pad of the strip has the necessary required constituent/condition for an effective test. But it depends on how well the blood sample is centrifuged, or if the sample has been contaminated ( in case of unclean test tube for the sample collection, or mishandling in the lab) ...the buffer will help maintain the integrity of the test regardless.

Plz answer..sir
