I understand what you mean. I'm enjoying my Brooklyn 39 in suede but I will say that I wish they put a leather piece on the base to protect the suede when you put the bag down.

My thoughts exactly! I was expecting it to be similar to the ysl loulou in the cinnamon color, but when I saw it in person, it reminded me of an old couch material. I passed on it as well. Hoping they come out with a better suede one in a true cinnamon color in the near future. 🤞🏼

It’s it’s lamb skin on those other bags. You are correct that’s maybe why they looked better than the suede, but you are right about what the suede looks like. Even on all the other bags in the store!
