Great to see you back on You Tube. I so much miss your refining videos from way back when. You and Ewaste Ben got me into recycling Ewaste and eventually refining itself.... Half a decade later Im very profecient in refining and do it for others as well. Ive investested in the correct equipment and the results have been amazing. Just wanted to let you know people like yourself insipired me to move forward with this. I want to let anyone else know interested in this.... Its not odd... Its not weird.... There is a community on this platform doing the same thing. There is always something to learn.... Basically Moose.... Thank you
Being a RU-vid creator for the long haul is harder than most understand. Looking forward to having you back. I do some resale in my biz. It's more time consuming and frustrating than scrap/recycle but it can pay better.
Hi Moose! Just saying hello. Hope you are doing well. We often think of you. You were a big help and part of my year clearing out after my dad passed (Burwell So Po)
Hi moose, Dee from Alaska , God bless you and yours buddy I'm in Shoshoni Wyoming now , mostly dead but not all . looks like you've been there too . Hang in there , hope to meet you srday
Moose , another suggestion , take us with when you go to pick up scrap or to sell . I've watched hundreds of Ben's like that . Tell some about Portland and history too . Again best wishes , my friend..........
Welcome back Moose. I have a pool company and take apart the motors. Some if good enough i will rebuild / recondition use later. The others are torn completely apart and they are all copper windings. At first it took a while to take them apart but now i have it down to not much time at all.
Hi Moose good to have you back. I personally sell around a hundred old phones on eBay a year average. I will take 30 or so take a couple pictures list for around 80 to 100 dollars and ship them out in a medium flat rate box. I never bother trying to get any working and just sell for parts. I get them from storage units I get at auctions so most are older flip phone types but even newer Iphone 5 and 6s sell as long as you have quantity. Make sure that other countries can purchase I find most of my customers are from south American countries. Even though I market them for gold recovery I have had multiple customers who buy in bulk to use for repair parts for their customers. Make sure if you are shipping priority that there are no loose or exposed batteries they are not allowed on airplanes shipped that way. If they are really broken up ones I just ship them out Fedex Ground. I usually don't have charging cords but if I do I will shove a few in the box also. Hopefully this helps. If anyone has any questions I will try to answer.
I'm not sure how the heck I missed this video, but watching now. I hear you with the ups and downs in life right now. Really trying to keep up with vids myself. Glad you are making vids again, Let's push to get that silver play button for you this year! :)
Hey neighbour welcome back. Come from Woodstock New Brunswick. Great video. Wish canada post was feasible to ship. I use mostly fb. Trying to get into the E waste. Thanks for sharing. Doing the RU-vid and scrapping thing as well
Good to see you back! It’s been a while. We’ve missed you, man! Don’t know if you already know about it or not, but those apple devices, depending how much hard memory they have, and IF you can get an IT to unlock them, may POSSIBLY be able to be mined for crypto currency which may have been left on them in an obscure folder tucked away somewhere. They say that a lot of hard drives could also contain some. Just a thought my friend. I don’t know how much work that is. But I have heard stories of people finding a stash or 2 now and then. Looking forward to seeing your new videos as you put them out. 💎
In one of your videos for gold refining you mentioned to comment if viewer wanted a video topic. I’d definitely would benefit from lessons learned for gold recovery. Like reactions take longer in cold weather or be patient with different processes
Hi there! My 14-yr old son Simon is an aspiring scrapper in South Portland who follows you and Ewaste Ben. He's got a huge collection of circuit boards etc, is starting a scrapping club at his high school in Portland, and I'm wondering if he can get in touch with you to learn a little more about scrapping from a pro. If you'd be willing to talk to him or maybe be interviewed for a school project, let me know what's a good way to contact you.
Hey Moose, Boardsort will buy the larger RAM even if its not listed, you just have to ask. I sold him a bunch of old 32 gig IBM RAM a few months back. Good to see you bud. Old Apple I sell in lots, a few people out there will buy, low money but better than scrap.
No need to apologize the way I look at it it's your life you don't have to answer to anyone but yourself that's my philosophy I come first then everyone else after
