The new lights are amazing, and I gotta say, that part at the end with the cinematic, you're killing it, and Pasha too! You should do these more often, it looked better than 90% of the other stuff I've seen on RU-vid and Instagram.

I have had the same headlights for almost a year now and this video gave me the motivation to actually wire in the halo. They look so good and I’m happy I finally did.
Molly has woken up now! Kinda like how I woke up to real life and now have an ultimatum to pass my classes in college now that the gravity has set in... yay...? I like Molly's new(?) look. Happier. More lively. More suited for 500 hp. Good work so far, keep at your own comfortable pace, it makes it all better :)
I installed these on my Miata over a year ago. They've been great! And they'll never fade like other lights because when not in use they can be tucked away.

Use Motive Power Bleeder to bleed the clutch by yourself. Don’t fill the bottle, only use the bottle to create pressure at the cylinder (10/11psi), pump the clutch few times then go underneath and bleed. Rinse and repeat. Make sure the master cylinder is new, or that pressure will spray brake fluid everywhere. Ask me how i know...
Instead of messing around with resistors to get all your indicators to flash at the same rate you can buy led friendly blinker relays, Chuck em into your blinker and hazards and will all flash the same
Great video :) Just a small tip: dont blow on your solder joints. Water from your breath will get trapped in the solder and create a worse connection that will break more easily. If you blow too much, it might even create a cold solder joint, which is hardly even conductive
I just put these same lights on my 91. They are much more visually appealing. The sleepy look was ok but people saying it looks less aggressive now...it’s a Miata!
Hey man, love your work. I got three Mazda trucks I'm building myself. The same body style as yours. (Way more stock though lol) I just wanted to mention that Jeep Cherokee headlamps fit in the truck as well. Our era of Mazda truck is synonymous with the Dodge d50 (Dakota precursor) and Mitsubishi mighty Max. So I imagine the headlight and some other cable setups are Chrysler knock offs. Keep up the good work man.
Yes! I always thought your miata was 99% perfect, it was EXACTLY how i would have my own Miata except i would have pop ups. But by the gods you did it, she’s perfect now. 👍🏻
Btw you can also install a load resistor in your flasher relay so your turn signals with leds dont hyperblink as opposed to running inline at each corner
Wow. I have some jank sleeper headlights that were put on by the previous owner. I've been going back and forth with higher quality sleepers or reverting it back to popups with halos... I do like the halos!
Next time you have to splice, use a Posi Tap, it's more reliable and you can take them out without fear of a short. Use em on all my projects and their OEM approved by lots of brand for accessories
You should look into some switchback LED bulbs for your blinkers... They are white until you hit the blinker, then they turn amber. It would match a lot better with your halo driving lights.
Did you confirm the motors were bad and you didn't just disconnect the harness somewhere along with all the mods you've done? It's entirely possible a dash gauge install disconnected the button under the dash. But I do love the traditional popups on the NA, I agree 100% with you.
I like the new ones, they look good. It‘s somehow weird seeing Molly with the wide open headlights tho. But I agree with you, when the low profile headlights were off, it looked as if Molly was tired and sleeping

Get a power bleeder with an attachment for both master cylinders in the car. You'll be able to bleed both the brakes and the clutch without any help from anyone. Very worth the $$$
