Return On Investment ("ROI")
The very simple calculation to figure out the return on investment, or, in short, "ROI", can be very powerful in regards to acting as a flashlight in the dark. Meaning, are you making good or bad decisions. Perhaps your decisions could be better? What is the return on investment? How is the return on investment calculated? Let me explain.

On the channel, "OneMinuteEconmics", they would've explained this with the ROI being 130% instead of 30% which is so unnecessarily confusing. Your explanation is so thorough as well as easy to understand, it also is captivating, which is vital since i fall asleep with other explanatory videos. Thank you

My Trading fees are $10.00 to buy and $10.00 to sell ( TD Web broker) ... So my "risk" is always $20.00 more than the total price of whatever stock I buy. Should be considered if you trade a lot. Good video.

Forgive my ignorance I’m new To this... Do I generate more “ROI” if I keep my profit in that stock? Or Will it generate as if it’s the same 100$ i put into it... If that is the case would it be smart to take my profit out then re-invest it into the same company...I hope that made sense lol.

Is it wise to measure the roi over a 10 hour time frame when working with crypto currency? For example invest £10 into a crypto coin and losing 8% within 10 hours is it reasonable to use roi to measure this?

@claytrader so my friend has invested £10 into a meme coin. He was trying to use ROI to measure the performance over a 10hour time frame. In that 10 hour time frame He had lost 8% of his investment. My first question is, would the ROI metric be worth using in such little time frame? My second question is would you consider losing 8% of your investment in 10 hours to be a big loss or would it be a negligible amount?
