Where we also had the enormous pleasure of seeing a female Huemul for the first time long enough to remember its beautiful dark brown fur with beige tones, which allows them to easily blend in among the vegetation, rocks and trunks, and it is also thick, since which should protect you from the cold climate and icy waters of Patagonia.

I started this journey with a discomfort in my heel that did not survive the 2nd day, even so it was 24.5km in one day of which 16km were with an 18/19kg backpack on my back and with a positive slope of 650m
This was the 3rd time we exposed our body and mind to an intense activity of several days in the mountains with intermediate breaks of 4/5 days between crossings.
That is why this adventure had an extra amount of fatigue in us, but this did not stop us from striving to move forward and connect with the mountain, its immensity and the cleanliness of its air. The return to Cerro Huemul has it all, glaciers , valleys, mountains, rivers, lagoons and VIP wildlife.
An activity that greatly helps our body to strengthen and regenerate more quickly is the Wim Hoy Practice, which in summary is Bathing with cold water, the longer you last, the more you help your body and the more tolerant you become, we start with showers. of 1 minute and currently we submerge 9 meters or more.
I am a Sapiens born in a Caribbean country where only some localities in the country know the cold, and I (Ger) did not know that the cold existed until I arrived in Argentina because in the locality where I grew up the temperatures were below 28 degrees. They are non-existent or it is very hot or cool (below 1/2 degrees) when it is raining.
