We are lucky to be heading out to Moremi/Savuti/Chobe from Ireland next week with our two teenagers. Really loved watching all your videos; fabulous photography and great fun too. So excited to experience wildlife in the wilderness ourselves.
Such a pleasure to watch episodes, and follow your channel. Very important advises to have a pleasant time into the bush. Thanks for sharing. I will be there this coming end of November after visiting Moremi South Bridge and 3rd Bridge as well. Thank you 🙏
We are in Khwai for 9days from next week 22nd. Nice to refresh the memories of the region.. hope to find a leopard, any leopard, and spend a few hours(or more) with them.
@@TheSafariExpert Campsite MG12 (22-9-2022 to 26-9-2022). There was a dead elephant in the river, which a male lion was feeding on. We saw the mother and her cub daily, and on our last day, we saw the male leopard. Villiers you are truly blessed to visit the area so regularly. Can't wait to see your next 2 series. Take care.
Awesome video! So happy to have found your channel, as we'll be in Botswana in about a month. Cannot wait to experience this amazing part of the world!!
Just back from northern Botswana, and what an experience ! We didn’t pass through Khwai, so I guess on our next trip to Botswana we will need to spend some time. Drive Botswana are class ! We used them to plan an 18-day self drive across Namibia. Highly recommended. Looking forward to the next video Villiers. Keep them coming 😃
Amazing video as always! Missed those lions around the same time as you (unless these were the pride by the khwai airstrip - which was a great sighting)
@@TheSafariExpert we did thanks. Camping and Mokoro-ing up the Delta was wild and exclusive, and Chobe was incredibly game rich given the time of year.. lions lions and more lions and of course thousands of elephants around every corner!
Ace video, Villiers. Thanks. We visited Botwsana - including Khwai - on a private safari in 2017. Rather expensive but fantastic. (I know the model used in Botswana is low envrionmental impact, high cost tourism). Hoping to get back to Africa from Australia again one day soon.
Been looking forward to this. You had a great campsite compared to us. We saw your leopard too although we had a bunch of badly behaved safari vehicles pushing down trees and bushes to try get close to her also. She came out the bush a meter in front of us and lay down next to us and of course I had the wrong lens on etc but I got it all be it badly 😅 Another great episode thank you for sharing
@@TheSafariExpert my pleasure mate. Hope it helped. Your footage is amazing. I need to come visit you soon for some lessons. Right now I have all the gear but no idea 😂 Ps love the kettle, same as mine. 😂
just seen the video and excellent - Question: we are driving to Khwai campsite in May and i am trying to find on google maps the dead tree forest. you were at Magatho campsite so across the river. any chance you can give me the co ordinates? thanks
What if those big animals ambush an attack to that tent , is it not safer to sleep In the car, with no mosquitoes and other insects ? I mean still some big animals like the Rhinos elephants and even hippos since your camp was just near the river Dont even mention those cats, you don't even see them attacking you ,
