May, I’m ready to counter act this argument. - Coyote says he loves wildlife and kids should enjoy nature but he also strongly advises not to go anywhere near it. - Coyote purposefully gets big and stung by bugs, which stresses them out a lot and wastes their venom for entertainment. - He acts like kids should love nature but, again, tells kids, (in the creek creature backyard adventure episode), not to try and catch a water snake because they can bite. That is just a small precaution to take when handling snakes. Water Snake bites don’t even hurt that much! It’s usually just a pinch!
Mark brown water snakes and water moccasins are two different species. You can easily tell them apart because cottonmouths don’t go under water. I think that Coyote should say that kids can go out and catch snakes, only if they know 100 percent what species they are
Mark brown safety is great. I don’t think that parents’ll let their kids in a muddy field in the middle of nowhere. They will see garters probably. If kids watch his videos, they should know what snakes are and aren’t dangerous in the US
Check out Steve Irwin and there are big gap on them when handling wild animals. I salute Coyote for loving animals but when he handles one he stresses it unlike Steve, he handle it with real respect and tender care
@Stark robot it’s cuz there’s a island off the coast of Brazil I believe that’s legitimately called snake island and is I believe the island with the most venomous snakes all concentrated in one area or sum like that so it’s just funny he called this island he’s in snake island when it’s like an offbrand version of the real thing however look into the real thing it’s pretty interesting
@StARk RoBoT heter fissken i vannet på fortnite bruh have you never seen the meme format kid: "can we have _____" mom: "we have _______ at home" ______________ at home : ( insert picture/video of the funny ripoff/bootleg version of whatever is being discussed)
I once found a Garter Snake in my neighborhood on the road, so I picked her up and moved her into the woods. I was so happy that I got to her in time and could save the snake!
Said it once, I'll say it again, this channel needs it's own snake show segment. The people want it, I want it, even your mom wants it. Don't disappoint your mom. Also maybe a appearance for the spiny bush Viper down the line?
NORMALLY this happens: human: sees snake human: screams snake: freaks out too WHAT HAPPENS IN THIS VIDEO coyote: calmly handling the snake snake: inwardly screaming
How are you still alive man after all the things you’ve done for us you are the best you tuber ever after all the things you do for us and science you help kids like me learn and it’s actually fun to watch instead of being bored when watching thanks
A lot of people think garters are boring cause they're so common in a lot of places but I love how variable they are. Sometimes orange or red or stripe less or bluish or melanistic etc.
I have always been scared of these things everybody says they can’t hurt you i just have a fear of snakes, Congratulations you made me a little less scared
WretchedWacko that's good your getting over your fear I have had an on and off fear of snakes and I can't do big snakes but I want a snake just not a big one
The title is misleading as hell, the real snake island is in Brazil and is inhabited with vipers, it seems you are just seeking to get viewership or is ignorant to the real place. Lame bro lame
@@JC-zt9fz like 20% of snakes are venomous, and only 200 snakes are considered dangerous. Cats on the other hand won`t hesitate to kill you, snakes just want peace
Great to see all those gartersnakes. Those garters are all Eastern gartersnakes, the only gartersnake species on the islands of Lake Erie to my knowledge. At any rate, a Butler's garter is typically about the size of that first snake you found and they never get the size of the larger garters you showcased. Thanks!
I actually caught a garter just the other day I've been doing this kind of stuff since I was a little kid and now I'm teaching my little brothers how to do it. Thats why I love this channel it teaches kids not to be scarred of the things found outside.
5:40. How come they never bite you but when I’m going herping I get bit by every eastern garter snake in my yard. I also heard that california king snakes are docile but mine is so feisty that I can’t even be in my room without it rattling its tail.
ralph Arpaio generally colubrids are docile, but king snakes are the more feisty ones. It also depends on the snake. Some may be feisty-er than others. Maybe it's feeling stressed because it wants more hides, or the temperature is not suitable. Some people say handling your snake will make it chill.
Intimidating!! I've loved animals since I was a kid..! entered the giveaway.. would be amazing to have a personalized video... love your channel guys.. keep up the good work!!! Be brave!!
5:54, I found a way bigger california red line garter snake when I went camping. It was with a male also there were a bunch of babies around and I held a few. (one I named Dubby) Because of that I named the female Big Mama.
Sadly, a lot of people say because they are 'the cause of evil'. Others are just so scared of the dangerous ones, that every one becomes 'dangerous'. I think its because a lot of people dont like things that arent 'fluffy' and 'cute'. 9.9
When I was prolly 14. Some buddies and I camped out across the levee in Louisiana and on my way home that morning I found a 5’10” garter snake. I took it took a friends across town and let it go the next night. We camped out. Sunday morning walking home same spot. 5’6” garter snake. It was awesome.
