Ahhh, that's a shame. I was really hoping you'd take Network Shielding so you could use The Big One with impunity, alongside getting the benefits of being immune to your own push damage. Still, great to see Into The Breach! Fantastic game.
yeah it woulda been cool, but i also think that weapon would be kinda garbage even with the immunity since it's super hard for it to go 1 for 1 with an enemy in the late game
would have been funny to go nuke build and take networked shielding so you don't have to waste cores upgrading the big one maybe if it did 4 damage to the primary target that'd be worth--the aoe would still be far too big for final map, etc. though
you can't really know how your fight is gonna look, sometimes you have to kill enemies to save a building, sometimes you have to push them away and you cant kill them. the margins are thin, i came out at 6 enemies killed on that mission but some small changes in enemy RNG and you end up having to kill 1 more
eventually, the next update is supposedly the one that's going to bring it to steam but idk if that's confirmed or just a rumor, but along side that a big content update i'm sure
