Hashtag United are a one-of-a-kind football and esports club, based in Essex, England. Formed in 2016 by Spencer Owen as a group of mates playing exhibition games, we now play in the 8th tier of English football, the Isthmian League North. We won our league in our first season in non-league football and were looking good for a second promotion when the 2019/20 season was voided, but after the 2020/21 season went the same way with us top of the Essex Senior League, we were evevntually awarded promotion based on PPG over the two part seasons. We merged with AFC Basildon Women in summer 2020 and formed our women's team, Hashtag United FC Women, who play in the 4th tier of women's football, the FA Women's National League Division 1 South East. We also now have 40+ youth teams, reserve and development teams...and not forgetting our esports team who play FIFA at the world's highest level. But he won't though, he's been at the club at a while and hasn't shown a noticeable improvement in those areas. Whilst he is a fantastic player, his game is extremely 1 dimensional and the higher the quality of opposition the more exposed he will be as he lacks some of the fundamentals for his position. I mean look at adama traore, physically unmatched by any other winger in the prem which makes up for his touch & end product but teams have figured out how to defend him. Josh is a very useful player, who creates some fantastic chances on the pitch due to his speed but the conversion is so low that it begs the question does this warrant playing him over someone who offers a more complete game

First game I could actually go to was great hearing the coaching from the sideline during the game which we don’t see on the videos. Was hard to watch at time really frustrating but we got the win. Felt strange seeing everyone in person as I’m so used to watching it all on a screen. Hopefully get to another one soon

Think Josh needs to work on being composed with the ball and ball control. He relies too much on his speed, once he gets past a player or gets a good chance to shoot, it’s like all composure is gone. Sometimes he makes good crosses, but I think if he works on composure along with being technical on the ball, he can be quite deadly.

Important win. Nice to see JWL in the striker position, he has the talent but maybe needs to be a bit more aggressive and physical there to get results. This team has a lot of talent but they need to practice more as a unit to develop consistency and get good results, which is admittedly difficult to pull off.

@@HashtagUnited Hey, thank you for the reply. Firstly want to say that I love your content and that Hashtag is my second team. So…., goalie wars, penalty challenge, free kick challenge, any football challenges, training video, reserves matches, youth matches, you have ask Devs, maybe ask the captain? Teammates (like soccer am), behind the scenes, after game tactical analysis, maybe with some OG punditry. Hashtag gameshows with players. Q&A with players, what team they support, how they got into football, best things/worst things about it, etc, question time with wives and girlfriends of players. I like the fact that the match day content is becoming more professional. But there is so much scope and I think adding in different videos will add viewers, subscribers and members. Players are becoming celebrities themselves and people always want to know more about celebrities. I’ve commented before and actually had replies from you guys before. I just want to say I only mention it because I love Hashtag and started watching the OG’s near the end of the first season. I want us to get to 1m subscribers and beyond, climb the football ladder, and show all those what can be accomplished. UTT!

So lucky to get a penalty that wasn’t handball, it hit the arm but the fact his arm was in his natural silhouette and or he headed it down to his hand which was still in the natural position. Yet comments like referee had to give it, well no it’s not handball lol
