Hey Eso, did you ever consider doing solo playthroughs of the game GTFO? From what I've heard, its considered super hard, so maybe that's a challenge for you :)
I feel so bad for Selene honestly. I got to Nemesis and beat him and was so happy that she finally made it off of the planet. She lived such a long life and died old. Then she went right back to the planet when she died just to do it all again. She must have like hundreds of years of memories locked away in her mind. Almost like wolverine
i only just got through the third boss and am absolutely addicted to this game. the 4th biome really steps it up ive found. my favourite gun so far is the shotgun (duality) with slug and acid. got loads of damaged buffs through the parasites for adrenaline levels and the one for every 200 obilites (glimmer). I cant be the only one who calls everything by destiny standards surely >
This game looks like so much fun! Not usually my style of gameplay but the mechanics look so well developed and thought out, this is definitely going on my list. Just stunning visuals as well, other devs should be taking notes, this is how it should be done. GG Eso. Made it look easy... as always 😂
Yeah I think you'll enjoy it a lot. It can be a little frustrating at times with the loss of all progress, but it makes for a nice challenge once you're used to it. Looks great too, although I did run into some performance issues later in the game whenever I fired a shot in the 3rd biome, but it was quickly fixed by picking up another weapon and back again
Only watched half the video. Game looks so good I want to play it myself to find out what happens. Then I will come back, watch the second half and see how it should have been done.
Very impressed for their first go of a game of this type I hope they continue to make these. the boss fights in gameplay are superb a lot of fun. Ty for video.
Eso, my guy, have i got the game for you. Furi. In concept, it's similar to Returnal with the difference being the lack of any RPG elements and exploration, but oh boy does it make it up with the boss fights, the center piece of the whole game. If you haven't, I urge you to play it. It's absolutely fantastic.
@Grizmark exactly it's incredibly taxing depending how it's emitted and rendered. Only watched on my phone but didn't see any render flaws either, just stunning visuals.
Pulled up the plot of this game out of curiosity, and all I _can_ say is that them using “Don’t Fear the Reaper” by Blue Oyster Cult in the final cutscene is brilliant.
Can you please put story segments as separate timestamp? I love watching your videos but I want to experience the story myself at the same time. Thanks.
I was thinking to make a full story video for the game, but it's hard to keep track of which story point should be where. There's a lot of going back and forth, and certain things only trigger upon death and revisiting an area, so it's a little too complicated to put together without countless hours and testing. The video doesn't really have too much story-wise outside of after the third boss and the final boss
@@Esoterickk A "movie" compromised of all cutscenes would be excellent but I played games with fragmented storytelling so I can guess the amount of effort such task may require. I was caught by surprise when **SPOILERS** she realized she was dreaming her trip back to earth and wished the timestamp made it clear that this part shows segments of the story so I could skip right away to the last boss. In hindsight it didn't "spoil" much but I wanted to experience the dread and despair of realising she's still trapped. Nonetheless, you did an amazing job for a first attempt! And I'm happy you're uploading Destiny and non-Destiny related content
Unbelievable..listen i bought this game on its first release date digital special edition on when i first got my ps5, i had no idea what i was getting into never in my life did i imagine i would hate a game so much because of its difficulty..anyways to cut a story short i tried trust me i tried but never even made it to a mini boss no where at all after years of staring at it on my digital library decided to suck it up and delete it 85 bux gone anyways figured atleast look online to see ppl beat bosses and to see its endings since know in this life time never gonna happen with me but wow looking at your video i do now believe there are such things as gamer gods because watching you fight these bosses im speecless i bow b4 thee...
The game really has awesome mechanics. The Gameplay is fun and all, but I hate it that you loose everything when you die. I'm in the second world now and I have to walk trough the first world, finding the portal to the second world, and then run trough the second world again, looking for the boss and the Portal to the third world. It's so damn annoying and to be honest, it kills every little bit of fun for me. I liked remnant more
It'd be funny if she built up this whole nut ass world cuz she used to play Rouge lites and space shooters on snes. Can't hold you, from what I've seen of the protags underlying story, it's some BS child trauma that doesn't make a damn lick of sense.
So the timeline was Car accident (who was space man in middle of road), => Octopus God brought her back to life for what reason ? Could she avoid car accident in some optional good ending?
Just did it day before yesterday and my immediate take away was *holy shit that was the greatest boss fight of all time* granted that’s my opinion and it felt so premature to say that but it was so insane in it’s scale especially towards the end, looking back a couple days ago and I still cannot think of anything on that level
@@Esoterickk good lord i must have been unlucky, played through first area for several hours and never saw it but popped up instantly for me in 4th biome
I get a SHUMP genre vibe from the boss fights. The spirit of SHUMP games in the shoes of 3rd person shooter with a human. The boss fights seem too easy, though. Especially the first one. Most of the fights don't seem as though they'd be difficult to clear first try by just strafing and dodging a lot. But, sure looks cool. Might pick this up end of this year or next year when I buy a PS5.
This sht is like those Japanese or Chinese games (I have no idea where they come from) where you have to dodge 5000 crap per second by literally covering the entire screen
I mean... it's a bunch of random looking aliens that don't give much away at all. Especially nothing relating to the story. And I intentionally made them small to avoid any overly nitpicky "spoiler" comments like this one.
