The airport is soo busy they do ask questions but they dont really follow up as much cus there soo many ppl . They focus more on international students n others . Yes babe it's tough this day's cos I came in recently like last month but my POE is Toronto and still see how strictly they are with some people but I got luck and now I'm here. I urge everyone to know few places in Canada either you're coming as a visitor or as a student, try to know your province well especially where you're going and the attractions places in that province. Asylum you say your life is in danger back home. You get a lawyer because there will be a court case to decide if you should be granted asylum. The lawyer must prove beyond reasonable doubt that in deed there is danger of you dying I'd you go back home. In the meantime you are placed in a refugee shelter as you await the determination of your case. Of you pass, you'll be given citizenship but if you fail, you'll be deported immediately. Asylum is tricky because you can't go back home if the threat still exists.

She should have accepted the asylum option and made her way through the system. In a month she would have a work permit and an SIN. But we live and we learn. She should try Finland or Netherlands now.

Its not even advisable to go to Canada on visit visa, its very hard to convert and get job, visit visa is just to visit very hard to convert but its possible.

Canada is such a boring country. No social life. The people are unfriendly and winter is very cold. Winters are long. Fall starts in September. Very boring.
That's true.... people are not so social here it's more of working and spending time with their families but it's a good country for making money esp if you are from a third world country
