Are you returning to motorcycling after several years away? Here's something to keep in mind. #bigbearbangalore #motorcyclelife #motorcyclesafety ##middleagedmotorcyclist #silkolene #bmcairfilter
I thought I am the only one coming back to biking after 2 long decades :D Like you mentioned I am pretty good at driving 4 wheelers but it's not as simple as that when it comes to biking. As always thanks Bosky for sharing tips and tricks of the trade :)
While starting riding in 40's after 20 or more years of gap..how should we start riding? What precautions to take? Please make full video for 40's riders...😊
@@bigbearbangalore The recommendation to use the kill switch first is about developing a safety oriented habit, ensuring the engine is off before the entire electrical system is shut down, and maintaining consistency in how the bike is operated. However, the order doesn't affect the bike electrically or mechanically, so it's more about best practices than technical necessity. 👍
Hello. Need your expert advice. Would it be prudent to wait for the Classic 650 rather than getting the Shotgun 650 right away ? I have been riding a Classic 350 since last 10 years. I feel its time to move on to a bigger but subtle and docile machine now. Speed limit is 60 - 80 kmph.
I am past 61 and have done the difficult Spiti Chandratal biking recently, felt lot more tired than my younger friends. But biking honestly up the reflexes.
From btm layout (udupi garden) to electronic city wipro office, i took 13 minutes flat in my splendour in my 20s. Now in the later part of my 40s i plan to go for 350cc and delaying the purchase as somehow i am sure my reflexes are slower. Have also heard others tell me, hogi uncle bega, side kodi uncle, nodkondu side kodi uncle ( and i don’t look like an uncle!)
Thanks for sharing ... could it have more details ? I also started (restarted) after being in cars for 20 years ... now 44. Sudden surprises on the roads, people popping out of no where and unable to put my leg on the floor like i could do on my TVS 50 really scares me ... only 2 months but not really liking it ... any tips ? how long ?
Trick is to be yourself on the motorcycle/scooter and aware of your surroundings. Letting go of any fear while on a motorcycle/scooter will help in your “comeback”. All the best and ride safe.
Partially agree. I’m a perfect example of the case. Started riding a bike at 57(after a 25 year break). Somehow, after 2 years and 30K kms behind me, I’m much more comfortable with the bike. It’s got a smaller area and hence makes it much easier to ride. When I drive my car I fear I have to take care of a larger area and it scares me…..
