Well.... Reuben found a way to channel his inner bulldog and make the new stroller his very own. That includes finding his way into it more often and walking less. There's no outsmarting this guy because he knows how to work his humans.
Roo the Low Rider. In his Red Sled. Smooth...... growing up with a bulldog who would sit in our little red wagon out on the sidewalk for hours, until someone gave her a ride. Hortense loved her red wagon and I pulled her sitting in it in kiddie parades. And always won first place. These bulldog genes..... they need to be researched.

I used to have to my dog fast, while walking, had to walk home get the car, go back pick him up. Then once my Archie, got hot, laid in a ditch of water. He would not get out, they are a stubrin breed, They run the show. Sometimes, he makes out he can't get in the car, he can get in the car,

Good adaptive strategy; keep the stroller in front of him so Reuben has to run to catch up. My wife does that at the grocery store by putting beer in the cart.
Limerick502 my bulldogs do the same....when they snort and grump especially when they get into mischief and I scold them I swear they are saying whatever dad and just look around ignoring me and avoiding eye contact.

I had anticipated Roo would just want to get in the roomobile skipping his walk all together but didn’t anticipate he would want to get in and out, repeat...repeat...repeat. Roo you are so demanding. Lol. Boy you must be kinder to your human parents. Think of dad Mike’s back. You have taken what was a plan to be kind to you while letting dad Mike and mom Carol get a bit more exercise and turned it into a pain in the butt excursion. I can’t help but laugh. Roo your antics are known and appreciated around the world.

He has simply Reubanized his routine to suit him. He feels that chasing the stroller is a good way to get Mom and Dad to get steppin out faster for their exercising.

I can always tell he knows when you're telling on him because he puts his tongue between his teeth and makes some kind of curled shape w/ it. Essentially I guess he bites his tongue during these tales.😋
You have to remember how quickly they catch onto things! Zoe won't eat until I turn on the vacuum cleaner. She was fussy all her life! One day, about 8-9 years ago, she stopped eating her kibble. Tough love, nothing worked. One day, after we tried to feed her, she sniffed her nose and walked away. So, I grabbed the dust buster, and kinda pointed my finger at her, turned on the vacuum and said.. Zoe!! I'm gonna get your food! Then proceeded to pretend I'm going to "get her food" vacuum it up. We tried it for a few days and lo and behold. Worked like a charm. Guess what?!! Zoes almost 12 and we still MUST do the vacuum cleaner EVERY. SINGLE. DAY!! So, I feel your pain Mike & Carol!!
Reuben the Bulldog what we do for the love of our dogs, right? It's kind of comical when we have to have someone watch her for a day and we tell them about the rules for eating! If we try to feed her without it, she goes to closet where the vacuum is kept and barks until we take it out!
The problem is physics. Clearly, there's a change in gravitational density between the Earth and the stroller, the latter of which turns Mr. .Snortypants' body into osmium. Osmium would also explain the farting.
Oh My Goodness Dearest Reuben! What is going on? Mom & Dad could not love you more than they do! I think you might have to meet them half way with this... although being the Very Important Celebrity that you, I guess you call the shots!
