I am just happy that people have clocked how messy Preston is. The way he was being shady when it comes to Jasmine, I even forgot dude was in her wedding. He gave me jealous vibe and his Jordan mouth piece. Him, Jordan and Shanice are just mean girls. Especially Jordan so mean and jealous for no damn reason.

Preston’s not a good friend. He, Jordan and Shanice are trying to push Jasmine out by isolating her. They miscalculated the fan love for Jasmine. ( Even though Preston claims she paid for it.) But what’s the problem? The other Summer House has a married couple and people aren’t tripping.
Preston is a “mean girl” . he’s combative when it’s unnecessary. Sticking his nose in things that don’t involve him then playing preacher man when it’s time to scold people. Jasmine and Bria made good points concerning him and their relationship he acts like a frenemy similar to Jordan and Summer frankly. He’s the type to learn therapy langauage and use it against you in an argument. “Let’s not reinvent history because it’s convenient” … like boy let’s not 😂😂 what is your problem with Jasmine? And I hate to say it but Bria is right, she doesn’t know how to take him because he’s always shading her and jumping on her when both his besties act just like her 😂. At least we can say Bria is sincere with her thoughts. as bratty as she is she maintains friendship with Jasmine even after all the beef.
I think the reunion set up was perfect for the season. Short and sweet in the clubhouse. Andy actually seemed engaged and activated, with the shade he was throwing left right and center. I’m surprised that Jasmine got first chair, just shows she is still that girl in the producers eyes. Summer was really going through it, poor thing. I was still annoyed at the shady and nastiness Nick was catching, just so out of pocket with no accountability for Shanice exposing herself in front of non consenting adults. I’m a woman and that would make me uncomfortable too. The shade Alex threw at summer “pipe down autumn” was nasty work
I watched a couple of Preston’s interviews and I was completely turned off. I think that both he and Jordan resented that the show was centered around Jasmine last season. That’s the real issue. Jasmine was definitely producing last season and it definitely made her a central character. And? So? Aren’t all of y’all on the show for clout and opportunities? It’s definitely not to promote black excellence. The fact that they both carried that bone from one season to the other was trash. They could have fixed all of that off camera, even in Jamaica. But it was more so about taking her down. And the audience clocked it, especially when Preston did his press tour. When he leaked that Jasmine bought followers, it said more about him than it did about her. Someone that was in my wedding doesn’t need to be my bff, but you definitely don’t behave like this.
I never trusted Preston from season 1. He wears many masked I'am happy their falling off. The real Preston is showin a portion of his face. Sneaky hater.

I hate that Nick lost his relationship because of this show. For this to be a group of friends before this show, that frequently vacationed together, I don't like the direction of the show. I want more vacation scenes and less drama
Yes I believe Preston was trying to get ahead of the narrative that would come out at the reunion. He was sitting on the end, and he contradicted what he told the Brooke Ashley about the girls trip. Jordan said she wasn’t speaking to Jasmine and didn’t want her to go but when he talked to the Brooke Ashley he said it was Shanice and Bria

The reunion felt short. I wish we could've talked about season one more, but I did enjoy it and was here for the Amir shade that Andy kept throwing at him, and I loved it. What the caller Nia said about Preston is 1000% true; no lie was told. Jorden and her jealous spirit need to go. She was mostly quiet this season anyway and bring back Mariah or Jason for Jasmine so she can have someone who genuinely cares about her. I also believe Summer is not returning, so we can swap her with one of Noel's friends or another single male
I think Summer was more hurt about Alex not wanting to pursue a relationship with her. That's why she was trying to mark her territory with Noel every chance she got.

I think that may hold more truth than her being jealous of Jasmine's marriage. Being married to Silas doesn't seem easy unless you're willing to compromise a lot of yourself which it seems Jasmine has had to do.
Unpopular opinion: Shanice is de-classing the show. She acts like a college girl on spring break or on girls gone wild. Like how are you bragging about sleeping with “high value men” and can’t get them to at least take you shopping ??? And this constant nudity around everyone is just not it. This isn’t the playboy mansion.
I agree there’s no depth to her. She admits to not wanting to talk about serious issues. And my biggest thing is she doesn’t care about boundaries when it comes to her being naked in communal spaces around men in relationships, but tried to come down on Nick for looking. Her self esteem and self respect is in the toilet.
I was happy that Noelle called Amir out and Summer too. If Noelle wouldn't have spoken up, Summer would've still lied about her and Alex. Definitely Team Noelle. I didn't like the way they treated Jasmine, and none of them could give a valid reason why. I didn't like how Preston looked so annoyed while speaking to Jasmine. I wish Jasmine had more support on this show. I would like for everyone to come back except for Amir, but Summer really can go too😏
Preston and Noelle vibe so well because they're both nice nasty. And im so glad you called out Bria lying about Mylo being a support dog. Shanice seems to be really bothered by Summer and I don't think it has anything to do with the clothes comment because she took that too hard.

Initially I really liked Preston, but the way he flipped on Jasmine for no clear reason was off putting. Then watching this season it became evident that he aligned w Jordans issue w Jasmine which was imo so petty & highschool behavior. Jordan gvs off whoa is me energy. It made me mad that they didnt understand what Jasmine was saying about her being the introducing party for Preston to the other ladies. She was NOT saying he couldnt be friends with them without her. And IMO, Preston also knew what she was saying. And he definitely has an issue with her because of Jordan.

Andy is not a part of Black culture, as much as he loves to kiki and read like an ATL housewife. He is totally unaware of the cultural details to know to ask about Arthur Ash and the significance of MV in the culture. A Black host is definitely needed. overall I’m glad they got the reunion. SHMV is such a light hearted show with the right amount of drama.

I found Jasmine to be annoying in the first season because so much of her personality was around her being a wife. She didn’t get as much camera time this season, but seeing her without Silas gave me a different perspective of her.
I give her grace bcuz they had only been married for 3 months prior to filming started. She and Silas were both just getting adjusted to married life. I honestly don’t care whether she’s a trad wife or not.
She’s going back to her old ways as soon as Silas is back. I had zero empathy for her. She made her bed and then played victim. Girl get up. Happily married women are not concerned about single women doing single things. And since she reminded the ladies over and over again that they are alone, why is she surprised they excluded her? She was not involved in the drama because she was struggling with first trimester.
Can we acknowledge a few things 1. Most of them were in agreement about Shanice not being able to dress. 2. Alex was being unnecessarily shadey to Summer but didn't seem to speak up much for Nick. 3. Noelle and Preston are very nice nasty which is why they're getting along so well. 4. Common sense would tell you Summer and Alex slept together. 5. Jordan was mad at Jasmine for being the center. Period. I can see her being annoyed by Jasmine trying to hook her up but that's not the energy she's giving off.

This reunion was not it for many reasons. I think a big reason for me is because Preston and Noelle for example were doing interviews before the reunion that what they said in the interviews was literally said at the reunion. So it was like I heard nothing new and nothing was resolved. It was lackluster and a waste of time. Nick was right about Noelle. She was doing way too much and it was quite annoying. The over talking and bickering amongst the cast was annoying. Like Nick said, my ears are hurting. Bria gets away with her bratty behavior all the time. Shaniece main relevance was the clothing situation. They def need to recast. Amir, Jordan and Bria can go. Shanice, Noelle and Summer can be friends to the show.
Regarding Jordan and Jasmine, the friend dynamic had to change because Jasmine got married. I was the last of my friends to get married and I adjusted myself to their new dynamic, especially when they had children. It was hard, but it had to be done. Now, everyone is in a good groove. Also, grace should have been given to Jasmine last season because she was a new wife and she was trying to navigate that new part in her life. People change with transitions. Jasmine is probably trying to figure out who she is now as a mom and wife. Grace should have been given to Jordan as well because her best friend is in a new phase in her life and she didn't know how to deal with that. I think that was the major issue this season as well.

I thought Jasmine and Silas recommend ppl for the show, and somehow these ppl (exception Alex, Nick, Amir and Noelle) seem to want the audience to vilify Jasmine. Epic fail....Jasmine and Alex are actually my faves. When Jordan told Jasmine how she felt the first season, Jasmine stopped. And sorry, being mad at someone for playing matchmaker is absurd especially when they stopped when you expressed yourself. It's evident Preston, Shanice, Summer and Bria are followers, and I do believe Jordan was in their ear about Jasmine. I hope they bring Mariah as full time and get rid of Shanice or Jordan (they add nothing).

Noelle feels a bit too reality tv-y.... a sort of rehearsed Real Housewives vibe. Might just be me. I've decided that I really do like Summer. She seems to perform the least and is sweet and blunt in good measures. If she's not back full-time next season, I'll miss her but that seems like the sensible course of action.
I understood what Bria meant, he may be an attention seeker but he’s not clout chasing. Clout chasing would be him getting with Bria primarily for her involvement in the show and how she could put him on. But as we know, they were together for quite some months, if not a year before the show started filming. So he liked and cared for her prior to this modicum of fame she now has and can grant him access to.

@@lalyndacobb48 to be fair though, Natalie actually never mentioned the conversation to Tasia because Tasia shut the conversation down before anything could be said. Natalie approached Tasia but never told Tasia directly what the girls said about Nick. Tasia would've found out what the girls said about Nick even if Natalie wasn't even at the house. Most of the damage was caused by the comments the girls made about Nick on camera. The damage that Natalie caused directly to Nick or Tasia was minimum. Nick addressed the castmates who deserved most of the blame because Tasia never found out from Natalie. Just like Kempire said in an earlier recap, I really believe the girls talked about Nick in front of Natalie because they wanted Natalie to do their dirty work because they knew Natalie was closest to Tasia than the other castmates so they planted the seed and Natalie took the bait but she shouldve stayed out of it.

This is how some friends move when you get in a serious relationship and have to make some changes in that new scenario. Preston said he has a hx with Silas and came into the dynamic from Silas end, they were like line brothers . Jasmin is a friend by proxy. The girls are just being mad about her relationship and its dynamics versus way they are in life .
You didn’t, they were trying to produce a friendship that wasn’t there which is why Noelle ditched her in the house. And then summer really thought she had an ally but didn’t.
Preston thought he was the leader of the group and wanted to ice Jasmine and Silas out of the group .. That's why they need to get a new Cast every 2 season
I thought Noelle held her own, as she should. I loved her standing up for herself. Would have loved Preston and Jasmine to expand on the discourse of their "friendship". I believe him when he says I was friends with her husband , not necessarily Jasmine. I don't think it's his job to mend friendships between her and Jordan. I felt that Jordan had very little to add to this reunion, I think Amir is a lost cause when it comes to his relationship with Natalie and I hate to hear that Nick and Tasia broke off their relationship. I also hate the F Boy narrative that Alex was labeled with. I think he was nothing but straight forward about who he is. Summer was just angry that he didn't want a serious relationship with her. And also too much of the hour was spent on Summer and all of her drama.
I’ll speak for myself. I personally don’t want to see anyone not Black on this show. This is for US and I think that’s okay! Just like Married to Medicine, Atlanta, and the morally corrupt Potomac.
Why does Jordan relationship police Nick, but not Bria? Jordan is boring brings nothing besides PTSD, she acts as if she was SA and now bringing that energy to the men in this house, I hope she addresses the real issue.
I did clock the Autumn shade. "Fall back, Autumn" needs to be on a Tshirt lol I believe the fboy narrative comes from Alex being aloof, "fake deep," and artsy. He probably attracts a lot of women & attention but pays them dust and never wants anything real with them. Which can feel weird after opening up and getting "deep" with ppl. Alex seems like the type that kinda leads girls on to thinking there could be something of substance there. But he falls back when they catch feelings. With all that being said, Summer was still unhinged all season and was acting like a scorned ex. She clearly thought they had something deeper. Even during the reunion she seemed to double down on a lot of her catty behavior towards Shaniece and Noelle. I'm also team Jasmine and side-eyeing Preston.
This! Alex said he doesn’t like expectations being put on him. To me, that’s a 🚩 when anybody says that. Especially after you’ve slept with that person. And, if I’m not mistaken, Alex said that he and Summer were out looking at houses for him. I’m not doing that with someone I’m just fkn.
