According to me Walter Lewin would win , Richard Feynman was a great physicist but I would still prefer Walter Lewin's lecture 😅😅😅 But we should never compare two legends 😎
Was Professor Villars also your colleague? He was my pre-med advisor. I'm reading Stephen Hawking's latest book and Kip Thorne has a foreword in it. Great video. Hawking would be proud. Wish I was at this talk. What a superb talk!!! Have there been more detections since then?
LIGO & its predecessors has/will open up a new window into the universe, especially once the amount of collected data becomes vast. G-waves were 1st finally detected almost exactly one century after GR. That is even more vindication for Einstein & among the most exciting news in my lifetime so far for astrophysics/cosmology etc. Great Stuff !
Sir what are the best books to study advance physics which you use/have used . I want to study all physics and maths there exists. Please sir make a video on the best books.pls tell how to do it; without having access to good universities...cuz I'm in school
For what? No doubt he is an amazing teacher but not a great researcher. He used to do research on X-ray astronomy but not much impact, so he doesn't deserve a nobel.
first get a PhD in Physics under a supervisor who is a world authority in String Theory (e.g., Prof. Barton Zwiebach at MIT) and who is willing to work with you.
Namaste Sir, I have a doubt and I am asking you here. Now I have just read the central force motion which is a topic in graduation level course. In that topic there is a section explaining about how comets are captured by planets. It was written that, satellites can pick up energy from planets by cleverly choosing an orbit and this idea contradict that gravitational force is strictly conservative.Only gravity acts on the satellite and its total energy can change. The reason is that the satellite experiences a time dependent gravitational force and time dependent forces are intrinsically nonconservative. Here , How the Gravitational force becomes time dependent??
*time dependent forces are intrinsically nonconservative.* this is nonsense. There are no non-conservative forces in an RC circuit driven by an AC power supply. There are no non-consevative forces in elliptical orbits of planets, yet the gravitational forces depend on time.
I have authored and co-authored about 450 scientific Publications in refereed journals. I was so fortunate to have made several important discoveries in X-ray Astronomy. None of them come even close to Rai's work. *The detection of GW is among the most important observations of ALL TIMES*
Professor❤️ no reasons to be thank 🙂🙂 - *Do you like the Solution ??* Actually, My Video Editor is not working well. So I wasn't able to add text in video which I usually do. But this time I use many 3-D Animations to make it more attractive and Cool.
