And i think, not being able to accept things especially the "reality" we are facing right now is the reason kung bakit most of us are getting depressed over the fact na we can no longer go out and do things we normally do before this whole pandemic thing happened. But of course, it will never be easy for everyone to accept things right away because we are all just imperfect humans. So i think it's okay to not be able to accept thia whole situation right away. This is the type of relationship that I really look forward to; very matured, very sweet and ever growing through each other. Someday. I really see what Khalil is saying. I feel a lot of the things that he said. I deal with my struggles the same way. Video games is the main thing. Ever since it also has been my escape. Worlds that you can somehow be lost in and not think about your own life and struggles for a while. People deal with things in different ways. I guess sometimes you really just have to accept and adjust to the way they do and deal with things regardless if it is a romantic relationship or not.

Me and my girlfriend have also been in a lockdown distance relationship for 3 months and counting. There have been hardships just like any other couple during these times. We chat, call, or do video calls, and send random selfies, photos and memes. I also thought about sending each other stuff like you guys did, but sadly, she lives outside of Metro Manila. We're celebrating our first year anniversary on Monday and we're excited on celebrating it virtually. But we'll do a proper celebration once it's definitely safe na. So yeah, that's our LDR story. LDR kami ng partner ko. Like never pa pa kami nagkita in person since nagkakilala kami. And we know each other for about 7 years. 3 years magkakilala then 4 years in a relationship. The lockdown started March. I was okay at first kasi i'm not really an outside person. Tapos wala namang pinagbago sa routines ko but not on his end. He's in QC working as a guard. This made me anxious. Mataas ang cases sa QC. Everyday madaming tumatakbo sa utak ko, and he will always assure me na everything is fine with him, na he is safe and all. Inaalagaan sila ng company. It made me at ease kasi atleast may tumitingin sa kanila. A month passed and tumataas na ang cases everywhere, nagiging paranoid na ulit ako. I would check on him almost every hour. Natatakot din ako na baka masakal sya sa ginagawa ko. But he was very patient with me. So the lockdown went on. We were really hoping na mag end by April. Kasi at last magkikita na kami sa may. I could touch him, smell him, feel him. But lalo pa lumala ang situation. May came and it's still the same. I'm already having breakdowns. i suddenly lost interest on things i used to do enthusiastically. I wanted to call him sa madaling araw when i'm crying the most. But i can't be selfish. He needs his sleep. He needs to be healthy. Hindi sya nagkukulang sa akin, like how he expresses his love before is still until now. I started questioning myself kung enough pa ginagawa ko or if i'm still enough for him. Hindi ko namamalayan lumalayo na ako sa kanya, from everyone, from everything. And he talked to me one day. I realized with all the things going on, maswerte pa rin kami. we may be apart but we're together. And i am more fortunate kasi sya partner ko. So for couples out there, for all of you. Communication really helps. A lot. Don't shut yourself. And i agree na minsan kailangan natin ng tulong. They worry as much as you worry for them. :) More power sa inyo. God bless. So thankful for this. Sobra!! I'm a graduating college student and my girlfriend's going to be on her 2nd yr college. We've had our ups and downs but mostly, downsides siya because of acads. Sobrang anxious din kami because of this pandemic. Tapos siya, nahihirapan sa online class, then ako is my requirements for graduation and ang hirap lang when it's all online.
