I'm 80 yo too. Wish I was in better shape. My husband and I have camped together for 60+ years. Married 60 years this June. Woe time flies. Blessings and joy in your journey.🤗
I’ve been watching your channel for around six months now and you subscribers have grown by something like 20,000 during that time. Keep up the great work. Your stuff is from the heart. I sincerely hope we meet someday on the journey.
I love seeing the joy you have when being surrounded by people you love. Thanks for the window into your beautiful journey and I appreciate all that you take the time to share. Hope you’re having fun in Florida and catching loads of fish! ❤️
You are seriously amazing!!!! My face hurts from smiling and watching this 🥰So thankful to have met you. Thanks for your friendship, the joy you bring to our lives, and for inspiring us to chase even more adventure!!! 😘
KUDOS for sharing and great Video! So much joy and love in it and much needed :) Crazy world we are in and this is SO needed.... Thanks for making a smile for me ! Cheers :)
I love this video, it is so sweet and just made me smile. Its so amazing to see how well you and akela just adapt and make such fast and kind friends. You both seem to just know how to be at one with your surroundings so fluidly. Also PS I bought my van 😵🚙! A little toyota sienna awd, we are on our way from dreaming to living! Thank you for inspiring me to be true to my heart, its brought so many changes in my life even just beggining this process, and in people close to me. Change triggers change and I couldnt be more curious, scared, and excited to see how it unfolds, for all of us crazy seekers of purpose lol😋
Here are a couple of tips I learned from my dad on deer hunting. 1. After you shoot one, if it doesn't drop within sight, let it run. Mark the spot where you hit it and wait about 30 minutes to an hour to start tracking it. 2. If you shoot it near dusk, not a problem. Still wait the same amount of time. Then go back to your marked spot with a Colman lantern and follow the blood trail. The blood shines and really lights up with the lantern better than with a flashlight. I don't know why but it does. 3. Put mole skin on your arrow rest. It will silence the noise made by your arrow. I'm sure you know deer have incredible hearing. Lastly, have a ball!
Thanks for sharing this joyful reunion. I can tell when you love you really put your whole self into it. What wonderful friends you have. Can't wait until next week.

I traveled in my 10 foot tow behind for a year full time and have since had to stop for a change in career. I am missing it so badly and have been watching your videos for a long time but ever since stopping travel - I have found such nostalgia in your videos. Thank you for sharing your videos and your sense of peace and happiness along with them, they are the most accurate depiction of my traveling life with my dog (in comparison to so many other channels) and I look so forward to being able to join your travels with you with each video. Thanks for making me feel like I’m vanlifing with you! Heartfelt thank you Linnea and Akela!
This is a video of a beautiful vanlife lady, catching up with awesome friends who aren't shy about sharing their kindness and love - the kids add to pure, innocent fun and love. Thanks for making a dreary day brighter x xxxx x x
You, are an artist. I felt my heart rate literally go down 10 points when you guys went onto that trail. So gorgeous, so peaceful...and Akela's body language said she was a trail dog!
Loved seeing the Red rocks with snow on them. I live in Northern Uath, and don't go South very often. You two are my favorite van/content creators. You are very inspirational, and Akela well you know.🤘💯🤘
1st you looked like you truly enjoyed this visit...that's what true and real friends are all about. 2nd. I LOVED THE FLORIDA KEYS and definitely plan on going back. Swing through NC and I will treat you and Akela to snacks, lol. Once again, you inspire me and make me long for my semi van life. Stay safe and "Life if a Journey...so Enjoy the Ride."
I’m binge watching your videos right now. I love your stories. Thank you for sharing! Hi Akela 👋 Hubby and I are part-time van lifers. Love this lifestyle! Trying to convince hubby to go to Baja Mexico 😄
I have a plan for the next venison tenderloin I get my hands on. Venison Wellington. Wild mushroom duxelles and maybe I can get my hands on free range eggs for the crepe. Maybe do a venison liver pâté. Nummy! Cheers from Canader eh!
🦋❣🦋I love when Akela howls with you. Did you teach her? If yes, how? I have a Belgian Malinois German Shepherd x that I would love to teach her. Looking forward to your future videos❣🦋❣🦋❣🦋
At 9:10 you have the same colors on as the scenery same orange pants as the dirt, a brownish jacket like a tree trunk and then the green hat on top for the leaves
@@Linneaandakela you actually made me think about my family and I found out that I'm getting homesick, so this week I'll be heading to West Texas to visit my family
Love the hiking segment with you and akela 😍 what camera setting do u use for shots like 9:13? It’s a bit slowed down and cinematic and I loveee how it looks 😍😍😍
Please use a rifle not a bow! I am an archery instructor and have seen many skilled bow hunters missed the vitals and hurting an animal. Many times the animal runs away and ends up dying without being recovered.
Akela drives me crazy ! You are a very nice lady but if we ever met I'd jump on the ground and hug that dog to death -- Of course she'd probably tear my arm off cause I'm a stranger and old and scraggily -- THE HERMIT -- Take care young lady -
