I’m not saying strongman wasn’t like this in the past but I love seeing all these athletes support each other and do their parts to grow the sport. @@Vladpryde most people seem to be angry at Obie because he had such potential and just feels like he gave up on the sport and himself. there's definitely more to the story but he could have been great but we never saw that type of energy. i was a huge Obie fan when he first burst onto the scene. always rooted for him but he just never seemed mentally or physically prepared to what his potential could have been. again, no hate on Obie, i think he's great but those are my thoughts

@@WeTryMotorsports Interesting. I think he's dealt with a LOT of injuries over the years that really ate away at his confidence. That certainly could have been a reason why he never reached his peak. I know whenever he's somewhere promoting something and someone calls him "world's strongest man" (or something similar), you can see a little bit of downcast eyes and a head turn from Obie. I think he feels bad about it and it's hard to watch. I do feel bad for him.

Idk if THEY would want it again. If u watch their podcasts the time schedule + lack of understanding on strongman meal importance made it really tough for them... Also eddie and oberst where real assholes to some locals as well
