Even though the rangers 1997+ are mostly the same over the years there were some minor improvements like power mirrors power windows seat upgrades safety features and more to improve the experience of the ford ranger
He said "It is a 2 door truck, meaning it only has 2 seats in it" ??? I could be wrong but I think it's called a 2-door truck because it has 2 doors and actually it seats 5. There is a middle seat in front and 2 fold-down jump seats in the back that come standard on super-cabs.
It's true, but I have a 2002 ranger and my buddy has a 2010 and trust me, even if they are subtle differences, you notice 'em. The truck just feels more modern, more safe, and more enjoyable to drive. I speak from experience, the new rangers are a lot nicer than the old ones. maybe not 15 000$, brand new car kinda nicer, but still a hella upgraded!
Damn, you would at least think an XLT would at least the double suicide doors. I bought the 2010 base automatic XL with the same engine new when it had 14.3km, and it came with the doors and a custom grill tho no power windows.
It's not the same Ranger at all. I just bought this exact truck (2011 Ford Ranger XLT) last month and I'm positively in love with it. Mine has 4WD and 4 doors, too. New trucks are lame. These old trucks are everlasting, classic beauties.
In the uk after 5 years they drop to bits. They smoke like mad and squeel and everything. I HAVE TO RECCOMEND THAT YOU TAKE A LOOK AT THE 2011 KIA SPORTAGE. A TOP OF THE RANGE ONE COSTS around 37,700 dollars. It has got everything in it. Please contact me for a full range of interior and exterior features of the particular sportage I have reccomended. It has luxuries like GPS, FULL LEATHER, 2 ZONE Air CON. All heated seats. 18" ALLOY WHEELS. Sophisticated Trip Computer. Plus 7 year warranty
Hahahaha that was a very old comment don't pay attention to it. My grandad said they went out of production and I, as a greenhorn, googled and youtubed 2013 Ford Ranger and they came up. BUT they didn't say where they were in production, and that's where i fucked up I thought they were being reintroduced to america but they are just the european models. But yes they still looked badass hahaha
idk whats the point of buying a brand new ford ranger if almost all of them from 1997-and up are almost exacly the same even the engines are the same the only difference is that they change the front a bit not much change and they changed theback tailights
Uhhhm ok? I'm sorry that you needed to tell me that Nicky Sadtoro is a cyber thug and you made a record about him. Me and him had a misunderstanding and there was no bullying at all lol
@TheKikoloco for the same reason i would buy another one i have a 1996 ford ranger right now 212.000 miles on it still going i would buy it again if i had the money lol i love the way the new ones look lol
Rangers actually drive better with an automatic transmission simply because the models from the 90s and early 00s with the 4 cylinder simply lack the power you would want from a manual transmission. My ranger is exactly that way. 1995 5 speed manual 4 cylinder, only 112 horses and just shy of 135 ft.lbs of torque. Not exactly the best numbers for a manual but its still fun to drive.
@talldude123 you serious? iv never seen one with crank windows, haha my buddies 89 was the only one i ever saw without power options and that was because they were removed, haha
no offense, but with f-150's 2 whole litres less per 100 km, the sense in buying this truck when you could get the bigger, much stronger truck with crew cab if wished, with better fuel economy. no offense, but these days this truck can burn much more gas and do much less work. this made sense when the big trucks did burn much more gas if you only needed a truck for light work or want a truck instead of whatever else. now.......well, i can see why the just got discontinued.
Nah dude I'm talkin about those european ones though I think the american ranger will always be superior, the european ones are sick. They all have crew cabs and roll bars and stock lifts 4x4 diesel etc. They are fuckin beast lmao.
@FordBroncoBart agreed, toyota is junk. chev isn't too good either. but the ranger had actually gotten worse on gas than the much bigger, stronger f-150. so the sense in getting it anymore isn't the same anymore. i geuss if you arent comfortable driving a big truck, you might want it, but thats about it.
I'd only buy a new ranger for the new car smell. mmmmm gotta love new car smell, then when it goes away ill trade it in for a new ranger for more car smell
