The AU could be that Dazai decided to get a proper education in case it was needed for a mission, causing him to go to school as Rui Kamishiro while working as himself in the mafia? Idk just a simple idea to explain it 🤷 Either that, or Rui Kamishiro was his original name. He seemed to have a normal life, going to school as usual and doing his usual Rui antics. But at the same time, he was in the mafia, living a double life. When Oda told him to leave the mafia, he did, deciding he wanted to go to the ADA while still doing some things on the side with WxS. He either wears a wig in this version, or he just wears temporary dye. (I think he would go for the wig, personally.)
