The city of Reutlingen is situated a the foot of the Swabian Alb and is shaped by its medieval architecture. The local mountains Achalm and the Georgenberg (an extinguished vulcano) are at the eastern and southern edges of the city. The mary's church and the Tübingen Gate are the city's symbols.
