Good question. Unfortunately they make 8 gallon (32 quart) and then 13 gallon bags, and the 8 is too small. In any case, the extra capacity of the trash bag helps fold it over.

I just connected some picture hanging wire to the underside of the sink and to the lid with duct tape. You need to get the length right, and then the lid will open when you pull the trash can all the way out. I’m making an upgrade on that- I’ll make a short video if I can find some time.

I actually got them from Rev-a-shelf directly - they just sent me the screws and spacers for free when I called them. However, it took time and might not even work. So, I suggest getting them from Home Depot or Lowe’s. I believe these are 1/4” stainless steel bolts, and you’ll need to measure how long you need for your situation - probably 1” or 1.5”. You’ll also get the spacers there- these are 3/8” spacers for 1/4” bolt. No it’s been 3 years or so and it’s used everyday without any issue. The wooden frame of the door is very sturdy and the drilling doesn’t affect it at all. Avoid drilling into the thinner section in the middle.

Yes you’ll just have to open the cabinet door and pull the trash can out. That’s a better solution if you don’t want to drill into the doors

Yes, hot glue is a great option if you can increase the surface area. For example, sticking a thin sheet of plywood to the bottom of your sink with hot glue, and screwing the end of your pull cable to the plywood (since you wouldn't want to drive a screw into your sink).
