I appreciate what Roland does bringing critical news to our community. I wish he would have asked Pastor Bryant the question and allowed him to answer. Roland made this interview about him ( He does that often).
No man is perfect!! We all fall short, and those of us who are not mature in the spirit or the world will fall again...sometimes fall hard. But a sinner must get up after they fall down regardless of the sin. I pray that followers of God, who have all sinned and because of the flesh will continue to sin, will help each sinner get up so that we all will continue to be forgiven and blessed by the Grace of the One & Only True God!

I totally agree Roland I thought the interview was about Pastor Jamal Bryant, but instead you have taken it over. I have noticed that Pastor Bryant is humble and patient.
Philly4/4 I love Roland, but this was the worst interview ever. I guarantee Roland spoke for more minutes in this “interview” than Pastor Bryant. And, most of Roland’s talking leaned more toward self-aggrandizing, not prompts to help draw out substance from Rev. Bryant. Still love ya Roland.
This was outstanding Roland! Great interview, excellent information shared NABJ VP of Digital! I see the wisdom and maturity in Rev. Dr. Bryant. I remember him as a young minister attending Duke Divinity School, and interning at St. Joseph AME in Durham, NC. I wish him all of the best! God bless you both!

It would be nice to see Dr. Bryant get back with Gizelle, I believe they were truly in love and are meant to be together, they have 3 lovely daughters and it would probably be a successful union at this stage of their life.
They were already seen together front row and center at dave chappelle's sticks and stones comedy show...he was rolling over out of his chair laughing at his provocative and sexually explicit jokes...like a little bit too hard...🙄🙄

this man does not just take. he does a lot for his community. they have paid bonds for hundreds to get them out of jail..help single mothers with shoes and school supplies ...now sending money, food, and water to the Bahamas. He has a heart for the people and that is why God did not allow this church to close. Eddie Long gave fully paid for cars to single mothers..hundreds...operated a program to help men coming out jail get jobs, ran a drug treatment program, etc. This pastor is working to help his people. Don't tear him down if you don't live in Atl and if you don't attend this ministry. this church is always helping. the problem is ...all the black churches need to help their communities.
Don't you understand that it is the PEOPLE who gave money to him and the 501c3 non-profit organization that are the real hero's! A "pastor" is a manager of a non-profit (sometimes for-profit ) organization, the people who give and support the organization are the real hero's of any kind of projects and charitable work that was done. Let's be real, he didn't win a Nobel like MLKJr., let's be real here! EVEN his NAACP involvement doesn't negate the hypocritical, ungodly & manipulating nature of this so called "bishop".
You act like he’s taking his personal money and doing those things. The Pastors are taking the money that their members give via tithes/offerings and doing those things. So the CHURCH is helping the community not just the pastor. And that’s what the pastor and church supposed to do....help the community otherwise what is your purpose. You shouldn’t get any praise for doing what God calls you to do in the first place.

Faith House if Bishop Long was strongly rebuked I’m sure it happened in private but then again too if the good people of New Birth truly knew their previous senior pastor in terms of what kind of man he was I don’t know if he did what he was accused of maybe they just decided to forgive him and love him still, and if he really didn’t do what he was accused of maybe they felt that he didn’t have to go anywhere if they felt he was innocent, so yeah I wouldn’t know.

I have so much respect for Dr.Bryant. I have no complaints when a person admits and corrects the error of their way..but I'm very disappointed by Roland...seeming so insecure. I was raised holiness all my life and have come to the realization that aint nobody good but God. We all have to give accounts for our own lives not nobody else. The black church has suffered for several years know. Pastor focus more on becoming a celebrities then saving souls. I continue to attend Empowerment Temple with out Jamal as pastor. I, personally believe he left Empowerment Temple, because of declining congregation. So many left due to scandals.

I love myself some Jamal Bryant his word is on time in up lifting but Yes man of God! Roland S Martin after what he said to Tiffany Radish I lost all respect for him all the girls doing that interview tried to clean it up and calm him down for Tiffany he continued to beat her character down with his words and was very unapologetic for. Perhaps one day I will get over him if he repents for being so mean . He call Tiffany ignorant. She's an Actress and I'm sure she did not write the story or the parts. Our mothers taught us if we don't have anything good to say don't say anything at all.
I've lived in Baltimore my whole life he got ran out of Baltimore because people put so much money into his church yet he wasn't doing much to give back he's rolling around in big boy bmws giant diamond rings and such people got tired of that so he left for Atlanta and they're going to do the same to him down there for playing those games

Awesome interview, I definitely agree with the black church needing to catch up with the technology age! I recently relocated from Detroit (black churches) to suburban Minnesota (white churches) and there is a distinct difference. The mega church I attended did not collect an offering during service, did not pass a bucket, or no white envelops. As a matter of fact they didn't even mention giving at all! It was shocking to me because I was sure I was in church but no offering? Well a few Sundays later the Pastor spoke about giving online and that there was an internet kiosk in the building or CashApp through your cell phone. But they always promoted their online service and when I checked it out that's where they promoted the giving! WOW... God Bless

Yeah Dr. Jamaal Bryant Is doing good work At the new birth missionary Baptist church from guessing after hearing this interview...We can mention his infidelities but after hearing this interview Roland Martin can look past it I can move forward
