Rev. Cathy, maybe you could consider creating a community group for women who have seen their spouses through the battle with cancer until the moment of final breath. This is for purposes of connection, nurture, and navigation.

I can relate 😢.. may God comfort you Pastor Kathy together with your children. It’s only God who can understand this kind of pain. But the good thing is that you have God who will never forsake you, He is right there to hold your hands for His own Glory. May bishop soul shine on it’s way to that better place where there will be no sorrow or any pain.

Remind me exactly the same words my sister said when she was also fighting colon cancer and she kept saying am going home ,I can see God calling me and am ready ,we also told her no you are at home ,we are here with us ,you are going nowhere ,we denied ,we prayed but God time was ready for her to go ,be strong Mama it's painful but receive strength,be comforted peace ,peace in Jesus Name on you ,the family and the entire church not easy but God will be with you

Reminds me of my situation last month when I lost my husband... All the attributes about Bishop Allan were reflected in Apostle Francis Manano (RIP) very young but doing things bigger than life. It is now 15 good years after my then sweetheart moved moved to his eternal glory. I asked the Lord to help me and the children to put away and and forget affections we had for him so we could focus advance the course

I went through the same experience. It isn't easy. God just needs you to trust in His Eternal Providence guidance and will. Allow your past best friend have eternal rest. This scripture strengthen me Psalm 42:11. I confessed and confessed. Mentioned my name over and over again until it aligned with the will of God.
Now, after several years of living singly with Jesus (the more than enough for us who never parts). Children grew up, completed primary, sec. and high schools, graduated from the University, now some are married, working, some still believing God for next level. It is glorious.
