Why do we always say the same, "touch not mine anointed" cliche when someone has something to say about preachers. Just because someone is in a pulpit does not make them anointed. When you read 1 Chronicles 16:1-22, you'll understand the true meaning of that verse. That verse was in reference to the 12 tribes of Israel as well as the prophets, who were Israelites as well. 1 Chronicles 16:11-22 11 Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually. 12 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; 13 O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones. 14 He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth. 15 Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations; 16 Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac; 17 And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant, 18 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance; 19 When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it. 20 And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people; 21 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes, 22 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

Someone below said; "I wouldn't want to follow Leroy Elliot (preach right after him)". As a Pastor and a non-whooping one at that (I stopped that foolishness 8 years ago) - I would follow him ANY TIME, ANY WHERE. Who cares if the 'performance' isn't as good? What I would do, with God's help - is dig deeper into God's mysteries. I heard Dr. Elliot here in Iowa a few years ago and I HATE the way RU-vid presents him; as a WHOOPING CLOWN because trust me, he is SO MUCH more. It is HARD to blow me away with sermon points. That I can remember, there are only three men who ever have; Noel Jones (who hasn't he awed), Tolan Morgan, and Dr. Leroy Elliot.
He's preaching from his soul I think it's beautiful some people God use different I thank God he's trying to help someone soul pray for folks stop talking about other people

Y'all acting like this style of worship is something new. This is something rooted and grounded in our history and culture. The earliest known recorded sermons are in this style. Check out Elder J. E. Berch, Rev. W. M. Mosley, Rev. J. M. Gates, and others from the 1920's and follow it up until now. I get it, we so educated nowadays that we can worship cold and dead.....

How does your Pastor....not “the pastor” but YOUR Pastor its most meaningful when you love your Man of GOD/Under Shepherd! My point is they DO NOT for the most part attend or belong to any Church. Dr Elliott is preaching The Word and teaching which is ALL that matters. We should always “Delight thyself also in the LORD...”
I would like to add in the commenting that "this is my pastor" have been for over 11 yrs. now..I read some of the comments..some good and some bad "but I will say this" you don't have to like his style of whooping but if you plane to see heaven you will keep your negative comments to yourself or pray about it but you will not do harm to his preacher and see the kingdom "noooooo"
I wouldn’t have a problem with his close except it seems to me that all the pulpiteers behind him are in the flesh admiring his gift and not worshipping the Giver. Preaching ought to exalt God not the preacher.
I'm sorry but there is just one thing I absolutely HATE about this and any OTHER church that does this . when the spirit of God moves and the speaker/pastor/bishop or whomever brings a powerful word like that, there's always some fool (YES I SAID FOOL) that comes right behind them and kills the spirit trying to do prayer and the benediction with no motivation.. just all in left field with a tone of voice that just kills the spirit and everything else.. DUDE IF U READY TO GO THEN JUST LEAVE.. LET THE PEOPLE PRAISE GOD.... I'm sorry yall but I was just about to get a break through until he come with that "OK EVERYBODY STANDING RIGHT WHERE U ARE" mess... thanks for the let down.. Read the scriptures and get understanding. The Bible says we were created in His image. God loves The Sinner but hates the sin.

I never understood what is the purpose of closing a sermon like this. Why go from preaching to entertainment. I know some preachers get excited while preaching and go into a whoop. But this seemed planned and practiced 😢

People who run away are not running away because of how someone preaches...That is a foolish statement. it's the heart that runs away, you just look for someone to blame, but in the end you alone will stand before GOD. Stop making dumb choices and blaming others for your own foolishness and repent.

We are living in a generation that's hungry for the genuine truth of the gospel. They want to know how to live empowered victorious Christian lives. What they don't want it church foolishness... and THIS is genuine church foolishness. Growing churches are those who are teaching God's people how to live out their faith. The ones that are NOT GROWING are the ones with this style of idiocy in the pulpit.
