We must train our flesh to pray. Rev Mbuli, goes through multiple prayer tactics and methodologies. One of which he highlights, fasting and denying ourselves of the pleasures we enjoy for the sake of seeking the Lord. Prayer is not something we do only when we feel like it. Rather we must cultivate a culture of prayer in our personal lives, family and church culture.
Rev Mbuli, showed us the importance of know our enemy. We are not fighting against flesh and blood but against principalities and wickedness in high places. We must know the principality that is ruling over our neighbourhood and community, thus enables us to pray fervently against it.
Scripture: Matthew 15:21-28
The reverend, pointed out the mandate Jesus came to do on the earth (He came for the lost sheep of Israel). Therefore He was not obligated to help the woman from Canaan, but her faith, resilience and continuous plea for mercy compelled Jesus to heal her daughter. Even when God seems quiet and He offends us we must persist in prayer; push on until there is a break through.
