This looks like everything I'd want in a game and then some. Mihoyo really went and made games for both my favourite genres: open world action RPGs with Genshin and now with Star Rail a seemingly open world turn based RPG.

My body was ready before this was announced.

I don't like turn-based genre but I bet 100% that this will still hook me in like in Honkai and Genshin with its lore and storytelling.

For the Genshin players who ask: I only play Genshin, but I love Honkai Star Rail, Do I need to play Honkai Impact 3 before? If you like cool graphics, awesome ultimates, anime games, pretty characters, open world and you only want to play for any of these reasons and you don't care the story, NO. However, if you like the games with story and you like to play quests and main story in Genshin, is absolutely, YES. This game is part of Honkai-verse, is connected with APHO (Honkai) and you can see many characters of Honkai cast: Bronya, Himeko, Welt, Seele, etc. For the new players, can be dificult to understand in the first place. Also you can do: 1. Play Honkai (the best option and is really fun and wonderful game). 2. Read only Honkai mangas (for potatoes phones and open world fans). 3. Watch Honkai lore videos (Honkai Guy in English and in Spanish Zeref). PS: It's fine if you dislike Honkai and don't want to play the game or read his mangas, but the story will be very harsh and you can miss important details.

Imagine a game with Genshin's exploration and Honkai's combat. That would change action RPGs as a whole. Sadly I don't think this game will take that route.

There is only one reason this game has my absolute interest: ADULT BRONYA

THE AESTHETIC OF THIS GAME IS BEAUTIFUL, DAMN MIHOYO HAS ME HOOKED WITH HONKAI, GENSHIN, AND TOT ALREADY Edit: pls don't say anything like "except for the anniversary awards" i stopped caring about it already. ALOT of people from the fandom are so mad about it, it ruined my enjoyment for the game. So i stopped hopping on the band wagon (because i did that initially) and started being thankful for genshin's existence in the first place. It's my favorite game ever and it means so much to me.
