Her dad owns a boat and at 17 had time to just stalk 1D, I think that shows she hasn’t had to interact with what the majority of the world has lived with
@@jessslater3948 a boat can be less than 500$ is it's second hand or a hand me down, and a 17yo is in high school, if you're good with learning, you definitely have time to stalk people. Really doesn't mean anything about what she knows
I'm with Olivia. Homedepot is so much fun to walk around! Like, even if you're not handy or into DIY, it makes you say shit like "Oh, yeah, I can make that" or "Whoa, didn't know there was a tool for that!?" and of course, "Ooooo!!!! PLANTS!!!" 😅
I agree to a point. After living in a place that’s rainy, overcast, and cold for 10 months of the year, it can take a heavy toll, but like regular rain is nice as long as there’s also regular sun lol
17:30 I’ve been thinking about public transportation in LA a lot lately because the next Olympics is going to be there (and I’m from Southern California). People from all over the world are going to go there and expect to be able to see so many things in their spare time and be so frustrated when it takes at least an hour to get to one thing on their list. They need to fix it before 2028. Also, fun fact, Los Angeles only has 14 public restrooms.
Littering enranges me! I will never understand why people go to these beautiful locations because they're renowned for being beautiful, and then proceed to leave their trash all over the place, instead of simply taking it home and putting it in the bin 😔 You're here for the scenery, atleast be respectful and leave it the way you found it🙄
Anthony is so real. The 2006 emo kid chemical hair straightening. The rainy mood = peaceful, calm, meditative. Dude is relatable. And I love this combination of Erin, Olivia, Ian and Anthony. Hearing these four just talking about LA and life is nice
His dad is half filipino (on his mother side) in case you wanted to know 😃 he has mentioned it briefly before but a lot of people don't know that, he also did this cute photoshoot with his dad and Ian and when you see him next to his dad you can really see what facial features he got from him. Also, fun fact, his dad is half filipino half spanish and his mom is german, I find that somehow interesting 😅
@GuriStargin no I don't think his mother is German it was written just one time on a site randomly, but I don't think that's real info. He never mentioned what is mother is. All we know is that he is "Spanish, Filipino and white". Good mix btw he looks good lol
@@craigtrish2011 "some of us ain't pathetic haters" Says the person who commented that "My god, chance can't go any amount of time without trying to make it all about him"
looks like the speculations about anthony retiring from on-screen duties are real if he's hoping to leave LA within the next 4 years. I'm both sad to see it (and sad to see the changes his own channel is going through because of it) and happy for him if he's finally putting himself first. I suppose it answers our questions about whether he'll be in more pit/games videos again, too
11:29 Ian: I'm going to check something really quick. Anthony: Are you looking up how many people died on the Titanic again? Olivia: Wait, how many died on the Titanic? Ian: Uh, 1500. AND HE'S NOT WRONG.
No ac is a crazy take to me not gonna lie. I definitely do not adapt. I just start feeling sick and vomit alot💀 And to be fair it doesn't sound like she would adapt to a cold climate very well either by what shes saying lmaoo
the sprawl of the city is not why the public transport is bad. there's so many ways to counter that. it's just not prioritised, it's clearly a city built for cars. i have also never been side-eyed as much as when i took the bus in LA with my luggage
I know at least one guy who while touristing almost got arrested for walking instead of driving or taking cab/public transportation. Walking is very suspect, apparently (and yeah, he was white, so for once it wasn't the usual reason).
1:11:31 she's right about that one. This whole episode was just Olivia explaining that she lives in a bubble and anything outside of L.A mine as well be the Sahara Desert. At least she's self aware lol
1:46 I generally do eat lunch while watching new Smosh videos because that's around the time they come out here on the US East Coast, but I have learned to make an exception for Lunchtime with Smosh because the food is generally so unappetizing. IDK; maybe it's a good weight loss plan.
ooooooof. those stools give me flashbacks to highschool. They need better chairs! and mic stands! I can't imagine spending almost 2 hours on one of those - or holding up a real propeah mic for that long.
I'm a civil engineer and Ian talking about Road Diets is kind of jarring hahaha not a great explanation, but it's cool hearing him talk about something that I implement in my career often.
I just want to let Erin know that my first memory is from ~18 months. I remember laying on a table in the phlebotomy lab in the hospital I went to and three nurses standing over me going “one two three” and each giving me an injection in my thighs (two in the left, and one in the right) at the same time and it burning like heck and my eyes watering but not saying anything. I walked my mom and my pediatrician through it later on in life (maybe when I was 20ish?) and they confirmed that even though there’s no photos of it, that’s what it looked like when I got the polio, MMR, and varicella vaccines. My pediatrician told me I was the only baby who didn’t yell out when getting those
My first memory was also at 18 months. I got a teddy bear for Christmas and cried because I thought it was a dèad animal 😅 my next memories don't start until 3 tho
I have so many memories from early childhood that I would not be able to quantify with a specific age... but two that I absolutely know were before 2 are potty training and sleeping in a crib.
I've got one from around the same age of laying on my stomach abd getting stitches in the bottom of my foot. They gave me a Barney book that sang Old MacDonald and I kept pushing all of the buttons at the same time until they took it away from me lol
Ian is right, housing would get cheaper after a big earthquake. I lived in LA during the 1994 earthquake and houses got way cheaper afterward. I think people did leave out of fear.
I loved all EIOYI. It ran its course though. Once you could tell the cast wasn't having fun anymore, it was over. It'd be cool to have a throw back episode if the cast actually wanted to do it.
Come move to Portland, OR Anthony! It's cool and rainy for 6 months and then sunny and beautiful for 6. It's a diverse and green city, you'd love it here!
It's pretty ironic that Olivia treats caterpillars with such respect, knowing that they'll eventually turn into one of the things she fears the most. That's kind of wholesome.
