Hello, this strategy is directional where we assume that market will rise and may be cross 20K… but if market falls then this will give loss in BOTH ..SELL PE and buy CE .
This is slightly bulish strategy but not perfect for increasing vix because in present scenario vix will increase only if market comes down and in this case call buy leg premium will melt fastly which will resulted in heavy loss alongwith heavy loss in put sell leg also. so we cannot say this is a good strategy for increasing vix, but yes if we turn this to put side ( put buy , put sell and call sell) this may be good. Secondly if we make only strangle with same qty, same price and same distance without buy leg, in case of big move current or nearer day's MtoM loss is almost same as this strategy gives. So in conclusion we can,t say this strategy gives good MtoM cushion. yes this is slightly directional so will provide few cushion in that direction otherwise will show more mark to market loss in opposite side,
Very Nice 👌 Strategy and I also think trader should always go with Strategy when execute trades along with buying and selling because it will give margin benefits and limit the loss as well so both buying and selling in strategy is Very Good Idea this what I do now days and I am also in profit by following this kind of process

When a strategy or thing becomes too popular, it looses it's edge or the charm. I must say (my observation) that reason of low VIX for last couple of years is no body but you 😅. As it is you who made option selling popular among the retailers 😊. During corona times I also learned about option selling from your videos and also made money. But later due to decrease in premium left it as it was no more a reason to take so much of risk.

What was the vix when position taken and the time video shoot? Vix plays big role in selling. This is the time for naked buying and take sell side when vix shoots up
Sir why didn’t you buy a ITM Put option also? That way your positions would have been safe even if markets went down as-well. Is that your view was bullish that you bought only the call ITM ?
Sir, when I write/short a call option , I will get a premium. Once the premium is credited, can I square- off my calloption before expiry? If I do that, will I loose my premium collected?
