Paint and supplies MUUUCH cheaper than in the USA right now. I make weekly trips to our local home store for small projects around the house, so I'm up to date. Love to see y'all, and thank you for taking time to speak the language (encourages me to learn as well) Beautiful language!

This was a great video! The joy on all your faces from the spinny things, the beautiful shot of the leafy streets on your drive to the folks arriving. It's beautiful to see. We have taken the plunge too and will be over in August with our 3 & 5 year old girls to scope out our new Bulgarian property and village. Hopefully not long after we'll make the move permanently. Prices have risen not only in Bulgaria. We visited Hungary last year and it was the same. It is all "thanks" to the war we are all paying for. Glad Andy's parents are here. Make a live and let them speak 🙂 let them be the new actors of your channel. It became like a series 😆😂 Bravo for your parenting! The house looks so nice!!

To be honest all those kids I knew in Bulgarian villages who would work alongside their parents in the household and in the crops have become quite successful in life

Just noticed all tiles 😂while 100% you will enjoy them in the summer your winters will be cold af. Now its early but October make sure to look into thick carpets to put over them...or put laminate flooring(huge hassle if its the cheaper options bc its easy to ruin but very pretty good isolation)Its good that your parents came you can rest catch up and get some help

We've got LOADS of carpets for the winter. Last winter we wore slippers/socks around the house and it was ok. Winter was cold but I know it can be colder! ❤️

When you address someone you don't know it would be better to say: Имате ли instead of Имаш ли. Имате ли is the polite way and it is usually used when you speak to someone you don't know. Just a bit of advice.

What phone company do you use? I love the blue painted doors, what paint is that as it's a gorgeous colour. The guest accommodation is really lovely, well done and hope you are all having a wonderful time with family.

We got ours through Veselin Valchev from Ideal Homes with some help from Tanya Dimitrova from Visa for Bulgaria (www.visaforbulgaria.com). It's challenging and expensive but worth it!

Can you describe the Bulgarian phrase "Това отиде на кино." How can an English speaker interpret this phrase without a direct translation?

@@the_phoenixproject it's a Bulgarian saying. It means something went to waste/ its broken/ got spoilt. Like for example " тази боя отиде на кино" it means it got spoiled / spilt. In short it's no more. You'll learn in time that Bulgarian is a very rich language in terms of words to describe someone's feelings and alike. Typically in frustration it's related to someone's mum.

If you have to move something big like that again put a rug or old bit of carpet under it and drag the carpet saved any scratches and it will go over uneven surfaces really easy even mud and grass if it happens to be outside just a thought great job great content
