In today’s video, I unbox and reveal the NEW Wheel & Tire setup for the Acura RSX Type-S! The Konig Neoforms are a Flow-Formed lightweight and FUNCTIONAL wheel that I fell in love with! Paired with the Nitto NT555 G2, the RSX will have a Killer stance and Grip hard! Let’s Go!
In my opinion, Konig Wheels and Honda’s are a perfect match! Lightweight and affordable with the best bang for the buck. I’ve ran the Konig Dekagrams on my Honda Civic for years and I still love them to this day. The Konig Neoforms were released right around the time I bought my Acura RSX and it was basically meant to be. Most RSX guys run Enkei RPF1’s, but that wheel is too overplayed for this platform. The 5-Spoke design fits the RSX perfectly and the 17X8 size will give it an OEM+ stance!
When looking at reviews for the Nitto NT555G2, there wasn’t too many tuner guys running this tire setup. But I figured if it’s good enough for American Muscle, it’s plenty good for a FWD Honda lol. The Nitto Neo-Gens have been AMAZING on this Civic, but I think the 555 G2’s will grip harder with the mad amounts of vtec being cracked. Shoutout to Greg at Discount Tire for the mount and allowing me to film!
At this point in time the car needs to be lowered, plain and simple. Lowering a Honda is easy, but with the iffy weather I just have found the time to install the coilovers. I the upcoming videos, the Coilovers will be installed as well as the new slotted rotor and brake setup. THEN, it will do these wheels some justice!
