I totally agree with you, my realization of Israels 'expanding land' much needed to oocur prior to Ezekiel 38-39 was that they are lived in peace with no walls.....part of the expanded land I looked at was in the conflict in Jeremiah 49:2 But the days are coming,”declares the Lord,“when I will sound the battle cry against Rabbah of the Ammonites; it will become a mound of ruins, and its surrounding villages will be set on fire Then Israel will drive out those who drove her out,”says the Lord.
Spot on! I never made sense of this prophecy in my reading of Ezekiel... but Dr. Bill Salus nails it. The prophecy precisely describes the close ring of nations that abuse and despise God's people and Sidon will be an object lesson whereby God shows he governs the affairs of men and protects His people Israel.

@Deepak-tl9su The prophecy in Ezekiel 28:20-24 has been stage setting for many years and the detonation of the pagers is not the fulfillment of these prophecies. There will most likely be a coming ground war that will result in a bloody slaughter of MANY people within the city of Sidon with some kind of pestilence taking place.
Listening again..the unfolding of the plans of God is more intricate that i can know...how vast are the intrugues, the intentions of hearts, evil and righteous. Bill is "right" about the timeline. And, I just heard tonight that the UN is going to try and "force" the two state solution BEFORE THE US ELECTION. The next few months are so "fragile and critical" right now.

"An ambulance vehicle drives as hundreds of members of Hezbollah were seriously wounded, in Sidon, Lebanon September 17, 2024" It appears that current events in Sidon in Lebanon are stage setting for what will take place in the future according to Ezekiel 28:20-24 . Is it possible the reason God is against Sidon ( Ezekiel 28: 20-21 has to do with how Hezbollah in southern Lebanon keeps firing missiles at Israel for YEARS and threatening to destroy her?

Ezekiel 28 uses the word “will” (future) in Israel living “securely”. These events “lead up to” this eventuality-Israel is not living securely now nor will it during the 70th week. So the question is, when will it be living securely and “without walls” as we read in Ezekiel 38? There is really one answer-and that’s during the Millenium when immortal humans are actually in Israel. Old Testament prophecy is not in order as we see in Revelation (seals, trumpets, and bowls). Even different chapters which mention prophecy may be referring to different times (as we see in Ezekiel 39-which isn’t tied to Ezekiel 38). If you get this wrong you’ll be waiting for events that simply won’t occur (in the near future anyway). However, the Psalm 83/Isaiah 17 prophecies do come before the 6th seal of Revelation (for example)…..But this also comes before others (Joel 2:32 as one example).

Well he says Israel will be hurt after the Damascus thing and yet they Wii be victorious against all those close places that hurt them continuity what happens first I need to understand this
I've heard Bill state Damascus could be ruined during the Psalm 83 war, during the Ezek 38 war, or as a stand-alone prophecy; the Bible doesn't tell us when this will occur, or even if they occur together, only that they will happen. Bill wisely doesn't speculate on when they occur, but we watch the signs which are getting closer to any of these occurring. God wants us to do so.
@@theresak4343 Ezekiel 38 prophecy happens AFTER the Damascus prophecy. I would surmise that the "destruction of Damascus" could be caused by a nuke as the entire city is destroyed "overnight"....all at once. Radiation has a way of spreading......so Damascus gets destroyed, but the "fallout" could affect Israel as well. Think of any kind of fight....even hand to hand combat; there are usually injuries on both sides, even if one ends up the "winner."
He suffers from long Covid, he mentioned on another channel that he's going to start speech therapy. Actually, on todays program, he did some improvement, and his breathing wasn't as labored, and I barely had any problem understanding him.
