Dorothy Fields is still one of my favorite lyricists, and Jerome Kern's oeuvre is pervaded with such harmonically rich melodies and incidental music anyway.

Fantastic set -- great ones, all. Special mention to the Hallett "Longing," Reisman "Savage," Martin "Cuter," Whiteman "Pettin'" Munro/Bowlly "Vieni" and Himber "Heart." These programs you put together really bring a wonderful -- and, sadly, long lost -- time into focus.

Although I recognized only a couple of songs on this post they all were pleasant and enjoyed all of them. A pleasant 40-minutes of fine music. Looking forward to your future selections. (and hit'em hard)!
