Where in the Bible does it say we have to read the Bible? Or did you just make that up? And should we read the original KJV that has all 73 books or the newer one printed after 1830 that is incomplete and only has 66 books in it? The KJV has two versions so how do you or anyone else know which one is true? Who has that authority? And who gave anyone the authority to take scriptures OUT of the Holy Bible?

Brother you can get gold that is so pure you can see thru it. I was a union pipe fitter welder and later a welder in the electricians union. I still have a welding lens called a cool plate made by American Optical. It has a clear layer of glass and a blue layer with a layer of very thin very pure gold. You can see thru it.
I think it is so wonderful how the Holy Spirit works and how the word of God comes together so beautifully. I find it wholly satisfying, when you are talking about the word of God and and what it says and how the words of the Bible come into my brain and lo and behold that is what you say, it is what has came into my mind. I just find this to be something special that that I cannot explain.

Just a thought - if the Holy City is 1500 in length, 1500 miles wide, and 1500 miles high that is a big square/cube. The square miles are 2,250,000 miles. To put that in perspective, The Congo is 2000 square miles bigger. I believe the wall is around the cube. I think the Holy City will be like the mobile Tabernacle of God. The Tabernacle was a large structure, measuring about 100 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high. It was made of 48 wooden boards, which were overlaid with gold. The boards were held together by silver sockets and bronze nails. The Tabernacle was also covered with a series of curtains, which were made of linen, wool, and goat's hair.------------------------------------------------------------------ THE SURROUNDING WALL - The Tabernacle was surrounded by a fence, or wall, made of linen. This fence was about 10 feet high and 100 feet long on each side. It was made of 20 linen curtains, which were held together by 30 silver hooks and 50 bronze posts. The fence was also decorated with cherubim, which are winged creatures that are often associated with God. The fence was a symbol of the separation between God and his people. It reminded the Israelites that God was holy and that they were sinful. The fence also served as a protection for the Tabernacle and its contents.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ NOW THE GATES -- There were four gates in the wall around the Tabernacle. One gate was located on each side of the wall. The gates were made of wood and overlaid with silver. They were decorated with cherubim and palm trees. The gates were also hung with curtains made of linen. The gates were used by the priests and other Israelites to enter and exit the Tabernacle. They were also used by the Israelites to bring sacrifices and offerings to the Tabernacle. The gates were a symbol of the Israelites' access to God. They reminded the Israelites that God was always present with them, and that they could always come to him for help and guidance. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I believe the Holy City will be a representation of this Tabernacle on a grand scale. ------------------------------------------------------------INTERESTING FACTOID - The 12 stones on the priest's plate were a symbol of the 12 tribes of Israel. They were set in four rows of three stones each, and each stone was engraved with the name of one of the tribes. The stones were made of different precious materials, including carnelian, chrysolite, emerald, turquoise, sapphire, amethyst, jacinth, agate, crystal, beryl, lapis lazuli, and jasper. The priest's plate was worn by the high priest of Israel, and it was a symbol of his authority and responsibility to represent the people before God. @RobertBreaker I like your visuals and verse-by-verse explanations. I just noted that in verse 19 of chapter 21, it said that the foundation stones were in the wall. It’s not the whole city. That wall is to keep out the ones that go to the lake of fire. Since the new City is coming down before the old heaven and earth are destroyed. If the days of Noah are coming back, there could be giants again. The city is made of pure gold and clear, so I think we will be able to move in and out of matter just like Jesus and angels do.
I think your thinking about the reference to there being no sea, refers to the sea of glass. That is what makes the most sense, that there will no longer be a need for a barrier. I too, love the sea and all water.

Brother when you show someone in black and white and they absolutely can’t see it or understand it then they are blinded to the word. That’s the only explanation I have ever been able to come up with. I wish it was different.

It’s interesting that, in Revelation chapter 21, there are 12 gems mentioned to be inlaid for decoration of the New Jerusalem, and ALL of these 12 gems are anisotropic gems, i.e., gems that can show colourful patterns under pure light…
Yes, I definitely believe that "no more sea" in Revelation 21 is referring to something else than the oceans. My view is that sea here means the term sea in ancient Hebrew that can mean chaos and evil. The Book of Revelation was originally written Greek (some argue that it was originally written in Aramaic).
It was written in Kione Greek. Nothing unclean, or anyone who does anything detestable, and no one who tells lies will ever enter it. Revelations 21:27
I'd rather have whatever is the correct meaning of the word in the Greek (mone) in the verse. It doesn't matter to me what I want. What matters is what God wants. More accurately, it appears it should be a dwelling place. To say in someone's house there are mansions does seem to be problematic. Especially in our modern thinking. What it seems to be saying is that my dwelling place is going to be in God's house. Far better than a mansion, IMO. My dwelling place will be in God's home. But I will be happy either way. 😊

@benstr8156 My friend, you see it all over. People talking about their mansion in heaven. Based on little more than old hymns and preconceived beliefs from a couple centuries ago. At the time the KJV was written the meaning of mansion was different. It meant a room where one stays. It wasn't a Beverly Hills $2 mill home. Sorry, but I think it is you who needs to open their mind. I think Jesus is talking about God's temple (My Father house). He is saying that He is going there to prepare places in His Father's house for us to dwell. I would much rather be living right in God the Father's home as a son than off in a mansion somewhere else. But like I said I will be blessed beyond belief with either one.

Revelation 21:1 proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Gap Theory is just that, a theory. The fact is we are on the FIRST earth. If the Gap Theory is correct, we would be on the 2nd earth.
