In several places the Bible mentions the scorpion either as a symbol of terror, torment, punishment. Revelation 9:10 says, “They have tails like scorpions, and stings; and in their tails is their power to hurt men for five months.” They wouldn't die, but just be in immense pain for five months!

The holy ghost came to me exactly how I asked for in my Prayer, white bright light full of healing love (havent prayed in 15yrs!) It touched my heart and i fell to my knees and cried for hours! There is no wonder as to why young people today have so much anxiety, it's because what people thought would give them freedom only made them prisoners to the wind. The locusts are a representation of a plague upon the Earth. 3. The sound of their wings is a thumping. Real locusts sound like leaves rustling (small creature). These wing sounds are like a boat sail thumping/tacking in the wind (huge creature). 4. Horses prepared for war have armor (armour) called barding. Think Scales! 5. Stinger like a scorpion is referenced twice; so, possibly, literal! 6. Hair like a woman, face like a man; think proto quills, just like the hair on a chicken known as Pinkno Fibers. The distinction of "a face of a man" points to the defining characteristic of man: a beard. 7. Crown as of gold, think spikes around the head, just like a circle of "Gater Bumps" called osteoderms. 8. Teeth like a lion means it is a meat eater. 9. Breast plate as iron could mean a very predominant "armored" chest on a beast built to fly, not crawl on four legs. 10. Will not eat anything "Green" which could mean is allergic to Chlorophyll. The Rev Charles Manson gave the best interpretation: It's obviously about The Beatles. The Locusts were like unto horses(v7) shows the Beatles speedy rise to fame; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold. This refers obviously to the fact that they were the new Kings of Popular Music. Their faces were of men(v7), Their long hair is touched on in v 8, where it says "and they had hair as the hair of women. Likewise, the fact that they destroyed all the Bobbies is alluded to by their devouring teeth of lions. Their electric guitars are clearly their breastplates (v9) ( but I'm not sure if the reference to 'wings' in v 9 is a reference to Paul's next band). The 'stings in their tails ' clearly refers to the leads coming out of their electric guitars.(v10). Their power was the noise of either the amps, or the screams coming from the girls that hurt their boyfriends (v10). Simple!

One thing I cant get to grips with is why create us knowing we are weak and untrustworthy and then destroy us. If God knows us why allow us to be as we are? About the first part. There's no reference to the snake in Eden actually being the the devil that's just implied but singing is the reference to Lucifer as being the devil. That didn't actually exist until the creation of the new Canon with Jesus. Might be an evil entity it isn't the devil.
