I know it's blasphemous to most other fans of the series to say this but I actually like the Revelation's version of Mark. I always just figured (before I knew he was changed from the original) that he was one of those rare, non-asian students that grew up in Japan because of his military parent(s) being stationed there or something. Made the game feel a bit more worldly/varied I guess.

If someone can make "Revelations: Persona Protags Screaming 'Persanah!' for 10 Hours", I'd watch it through to the end

I like the idea that the manga creator made of Edward Tanaka as it makes it feel like a logical take on the English version and the protagonist of that version. I also like to think of Revelations as an alternate reality and universe and it makes sense to me like that

This was an interesting look into the first Persona game because I played "SMT:Persona" on the PSP and that was my experience. Your experience was different of course and I feel you did an excellent job covering the game. You earned a sub. I can't wait to see more awesome videos by you.

Man this was a nice surprise to see in my Sub-box. I remember trying to play this game like years ago and..oof I just couldn't. The game's map confused the shit out of me and the whole spell card/demon cards messed me up. But I can admit there's some charm. I actually planned on Reviewing the PSP version next year (Because I just wanna talk about all the personas at some point) so Im glad to hear that its the better version. Amazing video my dude. Can't wait for more and hopefully you'll continue on the persona series :)

I just finished Revelations Persona a few days ago. And gotta say I did enjoy my time with the game. In fact it's my favorite Persona game I have played so far. Granted I have only played PQ, P3FES, and P5. I look forward to playing P2IS and see how it builds from the first game.

Snow Queen sounds pretty cool.

I'd love to see a video on the Snow Queen Quest! It's really interesting; especially the dummied out version in Revelations. You can hack it to start it up, and... A lot of it is actually translated? It's super interesting to investigate. I think you need more hacking to beat it though, because of the currency change weirdness.

I always sorta disliked that I had to tell all the other characters that I didn't want them along just to get Chris. I just like having all my party members available to me is all.

To be fair, Persona 5 had Batman references too. Joker, Black Mask, Oracle...

Please, please, please talk about the awesome well hidden Snow Queen quest that was sadly cut out of the localized PS1 original. I found that side quest to be more interesting even if the Thanatos dungeon was a little infuriating.

According to the MegaTen Wiki, Skuld/Scrag and Vohu Mannah/Abracab (Ya know, the guy that appeared in P5R) also learn Hieroglyphein/BossDamage.

Hi. Need a bit of help with the game. I want all 142 demon cards. Did you have some sort of guide to follow? How did you know if you missed any and can you go back for them all? I just don't know how to go about if. Would be so annoyed if I missed one and I couldn't go back and get it.

You should watch Jojo. Maybe even do review on each Arc. Also yeah, do Snow Queen. Also 4 Maries other than Real Mary. Her Id, Her Ego, Her Superego, and Her Shadow. Because Why just use Jungian Psychology when you can also do Freudian at the same time? I recommend watching the Super Gaming Bros LP of the game. "Guess who? Vishnu!" And for a personal opinion. I Vastly prefer Persona 1 and the 2 duology's Persona Users. Not the characters, the way they work. All of them can go into the Velvet room and get more Personas (Provided they are compatible.), THEY ARE FAR MORE NUMEROUS which leads to more interesting idea (I'm assuming you'll review the 2 Duology, so I'll hold off more details on that front when you do those videos.), No 'Wild Card' Bullshit, And most importantly, no power of friendship Saving the day.

I played the shit out of the psp version. Done pretty much everything in it max ambrosia snow queen run and all. But I really want to try this dumb version some time.

If Persona 1 had social links and romance options, I would romance Ayase. She is cute though, despite her bratty personality.

I just beat 5 after getting collectors edition pre ordered lol. I loved 4 and beat it on vita. My problem with 4 was you couldn't see everything. Yet 5 you could and then spend time fishing if you wanted. On normal I got to level 50 and realized I was way over powered and then moved it to hard and beat it on hard. I loved spending time in mementos and the characters so much. I got a classic when the price dropped a while back and thought about playing this. After your review I think I will play p4 golden on my vita for the second time. I can not get over that black character in revelations though. My god is that racist...

I still preferred this over P3/P4. I grew up playing this and P2 Eternal Punishment (my favorite one). I love the entire series to be honest and SMT.

Despite how bad it is, persona 1 is my gateaway to smt that i found by accident lol and one of several title to kickstart my hobby to hunt hidden gem title.

To be totally honest, I greatly prefer the ps1 version of Persona 1 The PSP version has no americanization and a better localization, and the entire game included, but all of the OST just sounds worse to me, minus the opening theme, and the sfx and presentation if the game feels a lot "cleaner", for lack of a better descriptor I think P1s best aspect is easily its atmosphere and tone, influenced by things like how your goals in the game are: kill Guido/Kandori & prevent Maki/Mary from basically willing herself out of existence, the music, the gritty and otherwordly sound effects during combat, people straight-up die and get turned into demons and stuff, P1 and P2 are a lot closer to a typical SMT game than the latter half of the series, which I think is an incredibly good and cool thing, personally, and the PSP port of P1 does a fair amount to erode that imo

I do love the story of this game but the gameplay isn’t not very good. The battles in this game can just drag on tremendously
