what a bummer, but still our only kit on the market for a Corrado

What a disaster! Now I understand why skill level 5 with only 77 parts. Each one is a project. Seems like instead of paint and bad brush tube of putty and sandpaper would be more appropriate. I wrote them an email maybe 2 years back asking for re-issue of Corrado as old kits prices went thru the roof but I didn’t expect they will literally take old molds. 😢

Really brave move by Revell. To release such a kit at that price point and converting the skill level into a joke.

Many people have complained about this kit since release. Such a shame for a highly anticipated kit too

I'm stunned that someone at Revell approved the release of this one. I've been waiting years for this, and to see how poor a kit it is just disappoints me greatly. I have 40 year old ESCI kits that are higher quality than this. Heck, I have one of those Tamiya knock-off copies/counterfeit kits from a company called HK Miya, and the quality appears better than this one.

Completely agree with you. (I´m spanish, excuse my english, please). I was interested for many years in a Corrado´s scale model, but it was imposible. Casually, I saw this new edition of this car and I bought it at the moment. It´s true, Italeri, Fujimi or Heller are good reproductions and Revell always was a little bit poor quality... but I was crazy in this model. Now, I will follow you building this car. i happily got an build old release Corrado and a cabrio in great condition on ebay for around 20 Euro!took them apart and are now restoring them!They dont have the tooling problems of the "new" kit!Happy that i waited and did not buy one of the old releases for the astronomic prices before the new release and didnt bought a new release one!But really the worst part is the not really existing engine!So now i scratchbuild one by myself😉!This kit REALLY is a disaster!

I am new in scale model car building. Working with my fourth model right now. Bought Revell Corrado for my fifth one... It was my first from Revell and maybe last... Also I am going to take some time and build other models for skills and experience before Corrado. Brush is most useless brush I have ever seen. But how are the paint compared to Tamya brush paint? Is this acrylic? Considering using these to paint some smaller things and interior.

When are you going to build it?

First of all: i only wanted to see the body out of your kit. Ok. It is as bad as mine. You didn't mention, that the roof is 1/2 mm higher than the outer edges of the roof! That is only fixable with a lot of work. The scratches are the smallest problems on that kit. One thing for your review. It is totally not practical, to show the decals not to the camara. Your position of the camara is not good. More then the half of the picture is background and the parts are to far away. What you show ist not good presented. Mostly not to see, when you try to show the details.

Just classic from Revell. Nothing special but I really hope they out more effort to make this kit builder friendly🎉... it's reminds me VW golf 3 COX from Fujimi (but there was for 20$) It's jus another expensive "old mold" casting. For 60€ it's better to buy Senna or Nissan Z from Tamiya. It will ve better if they make it as easy click with color than this ugly ass ... Im really angry. Thank you for your review.

4/10 Two minutes of your talking head filling half the screen is a fair warning of what's to come. This would have been a far better video if you'd WORN the camera, held steady and stopped waving the parts around. Or laid the parts against a light well-lit background. Hint, gray on gray isn't a good match. Lighter or darker background. But this isn't about the kit, or the viewers, its all about you. So while you hold the parts at some odd angle to the camera, moving them constantly, and wave your hands around, with your fingers or thumbs on top of whatever you're talking about, I keep asking myself, what is this trying to tell me. Nothing about the Revell Corrado kit, you're holding the parts so close to your face that the camera can't focus. So I have to say its about you and I'm not impressed. AND we get 2 more minutes of your talking head at the end, just to drive the point home. Finally, still images of the parts not waiving around, at the end. You should have started with the last minutes and edited out the waving parts and fingers over what you're talking about. Straight on top, side, bottom, fore and aft pix of the body, with a gentle pan to show where and how much its out of squared. Its a problem, I get that. Short shots are a problem too. I'll check back in year.
