“At some point we will all confront a dark moment in life. If not the passing of a loved one, then something else that crushes your spirit and leaves you wondering about your future. In that dark moment, reach deep inside yourself and be your very best.” - William McRaven(United States Navy four-star admiral).
Absolutely true. Never push someone who has military experience, background in being a professional soldier, they are so specialized you couldn’t match their every move. They would outshine you, outsmart you every single time.
For the rest of us we humbly chose to trust our God to get revenge when and how it suits him.Not that I haven't had nightmares of how and who I'd bring to a appointment before God and make it stick Problem I'd have to go back to working 130 hour weeks 52 weeks none stop for a lot of years to feel any Salvation from it. Did I say I always loved the taste of liquor and get thirsty when I drink.
The best part of the helo crash scene was cut out... Reece: Riley, how you doing? Riley: I've seen better. Reese: Is that a hint of Southern Belle? Riley: Fort Rucker, Alabama Reece: You leaking? Riley: My back's busted. Reece: Ok - look at me. You a War Eagle, Riley? Riley: F**k you! Roll Tide! Reece: Ok Roll Tide. What do you say we get you home huh?
One of my favorite series of late. Excellent job by all of the actors especially Chris Pratt, Taylor Kitsch and Constance Wu, not wanting to take anything away from the other actors, all brilliant.
as the book told that Jack carr was wanting chris pratt even BEFORE he wrote the book was clearly a hell of a great decision. The series is great in many ways
I hope you have other motivations because if this was your only motivation, your fucked dude. Joining the military, any military, shouldnt be done on a whim, or your gonna be one of the ones backing out after a year in if you make it that far. Otherwise, good luck, and I hope you picked a job that gives you skills you can use to make a good transition into back in the civilian workforce when your done.
It is refreshing to see the protagonist have to exfil and evade competently to complete the mission. Most garden variety revenge flicks end with a fan service inspired bloodbath followed by a beer commercial reminiscent ending. High-Fives and a couple cold ones, slow motion swagger into the sunset, and no cops anywhere.
My favorite Reece kills are when he gets a hold of Navajas and guts him with his tomahawk and crushes Cox with a training log after telling him how he sent Ramirez, Donny, Barnes, Crowley, Lecrone, Mallory, Fletcher, Cortese and the rest of Alpha (besides himself and Boozer) to die in shit-filled tunnels in the middle of nowhere
Two things, firstly I cannot wait to see the second season of this show as it’s just awesome, well written, produced, directed and acted. Secondly I cannot wait for the Spring release of Jack Carrs next book. If you loved the show you’ll certainly love the books as well, or vice versa.
Actually I liked the show way better than the book. The book was a bit too linear for my taste. The Show's Ben Edwards was a much more nuanced character.
In the book, his showdown with Ben Edwards casts Ben in a much less sympathetic light. He has no remorse, holds a hostage, and tries to kill Reece. Reece crosses off the last name on his list with much less regret.
Thanks for the interesting comment. In my opinion, the authors of the script for the series changed the character of Ben Edwards to make the plot more dramatic. The book also has other differences.
I think the reason was to show the remaining humanity and regrets of Reece as his thoughts weren't as clearly expressed as in the novel. Example: The first kill of the driver in the road, Reece realizes that he has just crossed society's lines of law and acceptable conduct by becoming a murderer.
I really liked the series "The Terminal List". Interesting story. Chris Pratt, Taylor Kitsch and Constance Wu are excellent in their roles. I liked this video too :)
Today, we need of hundreds of "Reese" to Cleanse the world from those atrocities!⚠️⚫️⚖️🌍 And we should to start with the "medical" doctors...and military,of course!☝️⚠️⚫️⚖️
Season 2 is confirmed. I am currently making a video about everything that is known about the continuation of the series. I'll post it on my channel in a few days. Do not miss.😀
Why has cinema gone to these underexposed images! We need glorious, beautiful colour in our films again-- it's like some vampire has sucked the blood of beauty out of all these new movies. I hate them new cinematographers!!
I didn’t turn it on on purpose, I thought that I might reanimate it in the second season. For the murder itself is not shown. And when I read the book, and found out that Ben was definitely killed. The clip was published and did not want to redo it. By the way, a couple more murders are not shown, as it would be too long. I wanted to convey the main thoughts of the film, I hope I succeeded.
yep, unlimited access to cash ,new cars, trucks,,hight tech gadgets, heaps of different guns ,weapons ,explosives, parachutes etc , and every other special forces guy or enemy is useless compared to him....???
