Ever find yourself browsing the internet and come across the Browser Lockers that take up your whole screen, talk to you, and force your hand to call? How about voice mails about your MS Key expiring? We flood these scammers to keep them from answering or making calls to other victims. Weirdly, the Tech Scammers number turns into a IRS scam WHILE i'm calling it.

I work in network security for my university and we get users who fall for this stuff all the time. Each time they lose thousands of their own hard earned money. Thank you for doing this (even tho it might technically not be legal).

That'd be great, especially if you did it after like 1000 of the normal ones, so the person answering thinks 'thank god!! a normal call', starts talking and gets cut off with 'hello scammers' lol. Even add a recording making it sound like a normal call, then suddenly switch it, they might even think that the message is hijacking real calls

Better yet, make every 1 in 100 calls seem like a normal one, with the virtual scam victim saying predefined phrases when the scammer stops talking (look up "Hello, this is Lenny" for a similar solution) to clog up the lines even more.

Yeah, I've gotten these same calls too. What I always do is ask them a really horrifying question Examples: Was it lemons or limes that I'm supposed to mix with bleach? I'm trying to get these massive bloodstains out of the carpet. What type of acid should I use to dissolve a body? Was it Hydrochloric? I even sometimes get my brother and sister in on it. Make them sound like hostage victims. Usually involves muffled screams, some begging for their lives, you know things that would really freak them out.

When I got my first phone when I was 18 my first fucking number I guess used to belong to this trashy person. Every day I would get dozens of texts and calls from various scam centers promising free gift cards and of course, student loan debt relief, never planned on going to college so I thought it was kind of funny. 2 years later I still have the number and enjoy fucking with these people every day 😂

AnotherPotato PassingBy They used to teach people to whistle into the phone if there is an obscene phone caller to hurt their ears so that they will not call again. They don't teach that anymore. I don't know why other than there is caller ID which deters people in and of itself. I don't know about the legality of injuring someone through the phone.

Making a loud sound into your phone is useless. All telephone lines have limiters that prevent a sound from getting any louder than a set maximum. All your yelling does is make a distorted noise. It won't hurt the recipient's ears at all.

GreyException if I may add this and correct me please if I'm wrong but wouldn't the scammers have to press charges against Project Mayhem in the first place? If that is true I for one don't see those scammers pressing charges. If it's not true I again doing see law enforcement getting involved considering what he's doing. Similar to a person who tackles and subdues an armed suspect, probably illegal it did it to random people in street but is considered a hero for protecting the public from possible harm.

Incredible!! I wish there were a way for this to work on a smart phone. I’m so tired of wasting my time so that I can waste theirs! I usually get the call, go along with them for awhile, then make a “mistake” and it becomes obvious that I’m on to them. Then, of course, they start in with the foul language, threats to skin my family, eat my children, etc. It’s all such a waste of time. You do good work. I wish the real IRS would use this program. I wish they cared enough about our own citizens to do something about this. I read the other day that they caught two of them here in the good old USofA and I’m sure they’ll be out of jail in no time! Keep Up The Good Work!!!

Bless you! I hope you start doing it again! We’ve really been getting a lot in my area and there’s a lot of elderly communities were people are very susceptible to these scams. We need more people like you shutting them down.

bro this was awesome we got one of these calls and we cept calling until they blocked all 3 of our phones and one of the times they answered as domanois pizza. you need to make a video to teach us all how to do this. like if you agree.

He's using a C# library called Twilio to make the calls. There are tutorials online. Though they assume you already know C# so I'd start with that. *is one year late*
