I’m 56 years old and have only just discovered this genius, Christ I have wasted so much time listening to shite it is time to repent, reverend you have saved me 🎸🎸🤟
I've seen (and met) Jim. 👍 I'd wish to take a time machine and put his band on stage w/ The Cramps and Dick Dale. It would be the most Insane psycho/surfabilly show ever! 🤣
@@Audfile We sat in the "downstairs lounge" and had a drink. I don't know that I asked anything. Just cool to hang out with a talented artist that put on an amazing show! And to think that performers can be on tour and do this in city after city with hardly a chance to catch their breath! I've seen Dick Dale at the same venue, and he was just as congenial. Surf punk/Rockabilly is a genera I enjoy but usually don't go out of my way for. (Cramps & Brian Seltzer orchestra excepted) RIP Lux! You *ALWAYS* put on a Great show!..
I saw them in Seattle where the opening band was( sadly) booed off stage. The good reverend and his rockabilly RaD saved the show with out even tryin!!! 🤪🤘👏
I saw the Reverend Horton Heat at Otto’s Nightclub in DeKalb Illinois thirteen years ago ‘n those guys put on an extremely wild energy laden amazing show!!!
They put on one of the best shows of any artist, hands down, regardless of genre. Seen them 5 times, always an unbelievably great show. Jim is such an amazing amazing showman and guitarist, and Jimbo thumps with the best. Go see these guys if you have the chance!
This song is so much more amazing after you've been divorced. And what the hell are doing with a quartet?! Amazing performer. Caught them in SA a few weeks ago: they've still got it---Horton was pleased with the impromptu pit that showed up--and they were absolutely amazing.
Brilliant lyrics! "You take the fish, I'll take the bowl, you take the dishes while you're at it take my soul"🥺🎸🎸😎😎 but things aint so bad, cause I got a galaxy 500 😂🥁🥁💥💥💥💥💥
So good to see him doing well. I remember sitting with him in Austin before a show, and the Rev is just so real and so nice as a person. I'm in a different time in my life now, but always appreciate RHH. Man time really passes fast. The band I was involved in are just a memory now, but fond memories
This was an absolute pleasure to watch, love to know the Rev. is an amazing showman still to this day Timeless music & a supremely talented performer, just love the chaotic but chill vibes so much
Always impressed that even though his style is specifically Psychobilly that he continues the tradition of wearing a Nuvi suit, something not exactly prevalent since the days of Buck Owens and his Buckeroos.. if time travel were possible he would fit in very well with the Million Dollar Quartet, or in this case the million-dollar Quintet...
Man this guy is tits! Still making a scene for himself. The Reverend has been around since I was in high school. How does that happen? Gotdamn practice. Very few have held the test of time like this guy. Man o man! Congrats on your longevity and career. Great shit! You've inspired so many. Thanks!
Seen RHH 6 or 7 times in venues of varying sizes, from really big to pretty small, including a parking lot show in my hometown. Absolutely never a bad show. Best sure bet you can have for a awesome live show. Also, so many hot rockabilly chicks.
At 3:27 I lost my mind. I love this song but with that added part this is now my favorite version. I hear a bit of Hungarian Rhapsody number 2 in this video.
it's time listen friend in Jesus go so hand in hand every once in awhile you just got to break this out, this will never get old . ever ... and if I had a choice I would have took the Galaxy 500 I got a OJ Bronco she got the house everything else ... lol
cruising on the web, 2 bottles of wine.... and something left, like single malt something?....always been loving you....but.. when times get harder, you are even better... love you... for ever !!
Just got to see these guys with Lance Lipinsky on keys last weekend at the Shrine in Tulsa OK. There is no one like Jim Heath and the boys and that piano added that extra bit that sent them right over the top. Maybe it was just nice to finally see live music again, but I thought this was the best Reverend Horton Heat concert I've ever been to.
