You really don't know? Look at the music videos of people like Gav, Rev, Vel, Lucy and all the other rappers like those women - then look at the music videos of all the mainstream female rappers, then compare the lyrics and you should have figured it out by then. If you haven't: emcees like gav, rev, vel, and the like don't cater enough to the male gaze, or the mainstream male audience that requires a fantasy of a stereotypical, sexualised female. It is as simple as that. I think they're doing good enough though, they're successful (perhaps not in the sense of ppl like Eminem or Beyonce in terms of fame or money anyway - but that's just one way of measuring success) and they're great at what they do. The only sad thing about them not getting more mainstream airtime is the fact that they're all great role models for younger girls, all of them have worked their asses off to get where they're at and neither of them have music videos that resemble something you'd find on pornhub.
