3D Dot Game Heroes is one I heard of. There's also Anodyne 1 and 2. Alundra exists but it's PS1 lol, not sure why it's named by the other guy (pretty great game though).

Quite a harsh review, considering it originally scored 8/10 years ago. The game deserves far more that 5.5/10 considering Arietta was given a 7.5/10 and that game was way more generic, uninspired, boring, cheap, and awful compared to Reverie. Pretty sure Arietta only has 3 enemy types - that was a game I felt cheated out of my money for buying and time for playing, whereas I actually enjoyed the variety in Reverie. I guess it comes down to personal opinion but still don’t understand the how the reviews can be so different
